I saw yhis on the replay during the game. It should have been PI. But, like you said, the official wasn't in position to see it. Ans I was screaming at Wilcots for his stupid statements.Writerbuckeye;893283 wrote:Don't disagree with what you wrote, but probably every NFL game can rise or fall on one key play and I'm not going to blame the team for a screwup that should have never, ever happened.
On the punt downing, Cribbs blew it when he slowed down as the ball was still bouncing; he should have been speeding up the whole time towards the ball. Even if it had bounced backwards, the "worst" position would have been the 5 yard line or so; still deep in the hole. It's like they were trying to down it on the one and gambled.
By the way, take another look at Moore's so-called one handed attempt and you'll see that the defender has his arm pinned. It's clearly interference, but the ref can't see it because the defender's body is shielding it. Moore didn't dog it, he simply couldn't get his arm free. Wilcots (the announcer) should be publicly reprimanded for suggesting Moore was being lazy on that play. He was wrong.

He was cut by the Cowboys. Basically would just be a stopgap for a year, as he is up there in age.Enforcer;893412 wrote:Where is Leonard Davis from?

The entire team is huddled in the middle of the field. Nobody appears to be making an attempt to come on or off.

Heard a lot of talk on KNR today ripping Shurmur/Holmgren for being so arrogant in thinking that Shurmur should be allowed to be head coach and his own offensive coordinator for all intents and purposes as he calls his own plays.
As was pointed out numerous times, he is in way over his head as it is, and having him call his own plays as well can be seen directly in the lack of organization we saw out there all game long.
It is one thing for someone like Holmgren to call his own plays, but a first time head coach with little experience beyond that of being a position coach (only 1 year as an O-coordinator) has entirely too much power/responsibility on game day and it showed in the poor preparation. He is wearing too many hats at this stage in his career.

Holmgren is overrated. McCoy is not a NFL starting QB. This roster still lacks talent outside of Haden and Taylor. Just a disheartening loss. It's really hard to watch this team play.

That just shows the play starting. What is the contention that Cincinnati did something illegal? I did notice that AJ Green was on the Browns sideline, so there would not be a substitution infraction with him subbing and not coming within the numbers prior to the snap.Mulva;893533 wrote:http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8222d481/article/report-bengals-within-rules-on-quicksnap-td-vs-browns

There's a player on the Browns team who in 5 seasons has never not made the pro bowl...but yeah, he must not be talented.thedynasty1998;893704 wrote:What they are not talented or there are more players to add?
There's plenty of talented players on the Browns, just not at every position yet, and absolutely zero depth.

SMH, this is why everyone's eyes bleed when you post. All you do is post complete gibberish bullshit. At least do your research. Ever heard of Joe Thomas? He only made the pro bowl every year since he has been in the NFL. How about Alex Mack? He is only a pro bowl center. You post complete gibberish bullshit for the one sport you played at a community college, how do you think your posts come off in other sports?thedynasty1998;893704 wrote:What they are not talented or there are more players to add?
And you said you are a Browns fan, lmao, a real Browns fan would never leave JT (thats joe thomas just so you know), off a list of Cleveland's most talented players. Now go back to Madden so you can pretend to know what you are talking about.

Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, Peyton Hillis, Ben Watson, Evan Moore (perhaps, jury is still out), Greg Little (see Moore), DQ Jackson, Joe Haden, Phil Taylor (see Moore/Little), Ahtyba Rubin....decent group to build off of. Watson wouldn't exactly be "youth." Didn't put McCoy or TJ Ward on there because I need to see more. Ward took a step back against the Bengals, imo.

Ward hasn't played in a long time, I think he just needs to shake off the rust. He'll be fine.BR1986FB;894116 wrote:Joe Thomas, Alex Mack, Peyton Hillis, Ben Watson, Evan Moore (perhaps, jury is still out), Greg Little (see Moore), DQ Jackson, Joe Haden, Phil Taylor (see Moore/Little), Ahtyba Rubin....decent group to build off of.
