I'll agree with that. The thing about the Dark Knight was that people had a little lower expectations and were blown away. Now, we expect something great, and anything less will be a disappointment.

I think the funniest past is, people were calling for JGL before Inception. Inception sold it for a lot though.

It is a bit ridiculous that he now has 3 of the main actors for Inception in Batman 3, plus Michael Caine.

I think it is a great idea, and Nolan likes to recast individuals from his previous movies (Bale and Caine in The Prestige). Besides, look at Scorsese. A great deal of his most popular and critically acclaimed (aren't they all) movies have either De Niro (Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, Goodfellas, etc.) or Dicaprio (Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed) as the lead. I mean Goodfellas and Casino were very similar movies in the first place, and then he threw in a lot of the same cast members to play similar parts. If an actor is good and there is good chemistry between the director and actor, might as well stick with them.

That image is badass. I was very worried when I heard they were going with Bane. I couldn't visualize how they would adopt it to a more "human-like' role (like Nolan has done with all of his villains - and Batman - so far). I just kept telling myself, "he hasn't messed up yet" and kept the faith.

Wow am I hyped now. Can't wait!

It does talk about "what if Batman really dies at the end of this movie." Would that be a downer or not to end the series even though it's pretty true to the original comic book? A super hero that actually dies? That's rare for a movie.
