With only 1 game left in the regular season, who are your Championship Picks for all 6 divisions?

D1: Colerain
D2: Maple Heights (in a rematch of last year's final)
D3: This may be the hardest division to pick...truthfully not sure yet....As a random guess I will say Watterson.
D4: Should be a fun division to watch...lets go with who I want to see win it...Kenton
D5: Ursuline (they should roll through the playoffs)
D6: Delphos St. Johns

Coming from the land of the MAC, I couldn't tell you who won D I in the past 5 years.

IV, V, and VI on the other hand is what I care about. Even III because that's the division my Alma Mater plays in. Now that I live and coach in the Toledo area, I pay attention to D I and II

Anyone who predicts anything but DSJ in D6 is off their rocker. I mean any given Friday night anything can happen, but in my opinion (and I'm a Mogadore fan) DSJ is well above anyone else in D6.

Jmog... Everyone said that last year also. There are a few teams that could cause dsj some problems but I do agree I think they win it

I don't exactly how the regions will matchup in week 14, so I'll just put who I think would be the two best teams in week 15.

Division I: Lakewood St. Edward over Cincinnati Colerain
Division II: Mentor Lake Catholic over Cincinnati Turpin
Division III: Youngstown Cardinal Mooney over Steubenville
Division IV: Kettering Alter over Genoa
Division V: Youngstown Ursuline over Collins Western Reserve
Division VI: Delphos St. John's over Maria Stein Marion Local

^^^Based on semi-final allignment...I doubt a few of those matches will happen.


By the way people...Alter is having a down year...that is why I didn't pick them.

Dude you really just dont know your HS football do you? Ever look at the USA today or other national rankings . Many times smaller Florida ,Texas and Cali schools are ranked and to be honest alot more lower division Ohio schools need to be talked about . . Big school playoffs are nice in the way many will have larg bands ,bigger crowds ,but in no way better football in finales week . Ursulin can compete for D-1 this year so could probably Delphos St Johns and Mooney in most years and MCL and Kettering Alter and so on .

Good luck to all public schools . We all may need to say a prayer for the division 5 and 6 publics but I think we can defeat the barbarian hords in the other divisions .LOL

They lost a game to a pretty good D1 team and are 8-1. Hardly a "down year".

D5 and D6 are as close to a sure bet as possible. I would say Stone Cold Lead Pipe Locks IMO.
