It's do or die time for the Quakers. Instead of playing for a possible home playoff game, they are now fighting for their playoff lives. Can they rebound from an uncharacteristic loss? A win by Salem gives them a better than good shot at week 11, a loss by the Potters and they still have a great chance to hang on to the third spot. Let the prognosticating begin.

Loco, just curious as to why you think EL will win after your Warriors beat them going away. They obviously have improved since then, but has it been enough? I thought they would handle John Marshall fairly easily. Just looking for your observations and opinions on their talent level, etc. I really don't know much about them except for the fact that one of their best backs was injured when they lost to Salem last year.

We did handle JM nine minutes to go and we put entire second string in with their 1's and they scored 20 while our starters watched. I hope you quakers keep thinking about last year and you might want Toothman to call Oak Glen and ask Rowlings what it is like to get smacked by the Potters on every play. We held him to just 4 yards total until he broke a 25 yard run against 2's. EL has the ability to shut down any one person and it will take a team effort to beat the Potters. Salem loses by 10 the Potter defense is for real!

Thanks. I didn't see the box score so I didn't know how the scoring went throughout the game. I see that your defense has played well all year with the exception of the Carrollton game. How's the offense? Is it balanced or do they favor the run or the pass? Conservative or wide open? Toothman has had a target on his back all year, so I'm sure that he knows that the Potters will be gunning for him. Lakeview had some speed that was able to keep him from any huge runs and got him behind the line a few times; hopefully it was good experience for him before this Friday. Should be a good one that will be decided in the 4th. I just hope the Salem fans bring their voices this week; I was a little disappointed that the small Lakeview crowd could be heard over the Salem side.

East Liverpool, Salem. what a game!! Not.
I saw both these teams play this year.
Both teams have their weaknesses... But EL has Tompkins, and Salem has Toothman...
Toothman, is a stud. Period.

It wont be easy this week but i think the Potters multiple threats on offense will be to much for salem. There is no doubt Toothman is a stud. The Potters bring a balanced attack to the table. The Carolton game is much different the Potters of today. I look forward to another great game and hope everyone comes out healthy and a Potter victory!

I agree with spread. Salem has a better D then EL also with a little more fire power. EL will have to win the TO margin by 2+ to win this game.

Vindy.com has it scoreless. Don't know how good they are at updates, most games have scores on there, but it's the only place I have found this game on a scoreboard.
