Both programs returned basically everyone of importance (Oregon lost Masoli but they haven't had a hard time replacing QB's in their offense).

no not everyones else's purdue prediction. nice try. the fact remains that the rose bowl win was meaningless it had to outcome in the national title.but buckeyes fans are so desparate for a win they will take anything. as i recall the coaches poll is not the sole criteria used in the bcs formula. and thats a good thing. because some coaches have stated in the past they dont even vote because they dont have time. one coach said he had his son do it.
