But, I say that another part of that fame comes from simply being a fuck-up political kid. Mom has a strong abstinence stance...daughter pops out a teenie-out-of-wedlock kid. Daughter becomes media/tabloid sensation.
When it comes to the whole R-vs-D wars, while I'm more of a D-leaning moderate, I have to admit that the daughters of big-name Rs turn me on more. I remember Clinton's daughter as being a bag-over-face girl and the Kerrey daughters as having the misfortune of inheriting his nose and overly angular face. Meanwhile, the Junior Bush daughters came off as party whores, McCain's girl has a rack that doesn't stop and Bristol's a teen slut who's also a tabloid media slut!
I like things like that.
PS: As to my opinion of Bristol, while I wouldn't call her hot or anything, I'd totally do her because that's how I roll! And besides, it always could lead to a "My Girlfriend's Hot Mom" sort of porn (whether it be with the actual mom or the porn chick who starred in "Nailin' Palin"...god bless Larry Flynt!).
You and I actually are on the same page for the most part. I also also in agreement with you on the political daughters. I've seen some pictures of Megan McCain and that chest of hers of late that has caused my jaw to drop.
I guess my point on Bristol is that unlike a reality show contestant, an actor or an athlete, she was casted in the spotlight of no choice of her own. I also think people vicariously push her mother's political persuasion onto her as if they were her own. The fact that she spread her legs and got knocked up had no bearing on what her mom's opinions on abstinence were. It was not as if she was on the circuit lecturing people or doing an infomercials telling everyone she was saving herself for marriage. For all we know, Bristol Palin could be a hard core democrat that thinks President Obama is too conservative.
