Not so sure about the former listed, but I know for a fact that ADD is bullshit. I mean seriously, I always thought it was normal....oh look a puppy....human behavior to generally not care and lose interest at some point in your life. "Oh Little Johnny hasn't been paying attention in my class. He must have ADD or the dreaded ADHD. He needs medicine." No he doesn't! He needs bloody discipline.

I had a severe case of asthma as a child. I didn't use a damn inhaler, I was a man about it. Sure I couldn't run near as far as others, but you can go through all this without medication and I've been symptom free for years. In fact, I am lucky if I get sick period anymore. Peanut allergies are preventing peanut products from being offered in schools. My god, what the hell is wrong with people today? I had at least one classmate who was lactose intolerant. You know what he did? He avoided milk. It's not that hard people.

Prescription medications are the problem today and those Pharmaceutical types CANNOT tell me any different. I've seen it ravage through both sides of my family because certain pills are highly addictive. Some of those behavioral medications fuck with the mind, and people are never quite the same again.

A lot of it is BS. However, the peanut allergy... Its not always as simple as the child and parent taking precautions. My friends little boy is HIGHLY allergic, if another person eats a peanut butter sandwich and gets any of the oil on their hands and they happen to touch the same object and Ethan gets that oil on his hands and near his face, he has an instant reaction/trouble breathing etc. I've seen it happen. Its nothing to take lightly, and can't always be prevented with simply a child/parent taking precaution.

I tend to agree with you on ADD. If you notice the overwhelming majority of kids on medication are all boys. I have seen numerous examples from friends and families whose teachers all told them their children were disruptive in the classroom. When you ask the teachers how Little Johnny is disruptive they will cite how Johnny does not sit still. He talks when not called on. The truth of the matter is there are a lot of teachers who want Little Johnny on medication so they sit still and make their jobs easier. Boys did the same stuff in the classroom when I was in school. As the old saying goes, boys will be boys.

A little discipline and patience would help alleviate a lot of unnecessary drugging going on out there.

Totally agree on the prescription medicine too - forgot to include that in my post. How many people run to the doctor every time they have the flu or even a simple cold.
