Has anyone made a movie about MJ? Cash was around for decades, and actually wrote most of his music in the early years. When he did the American albums in the 90's he transcended grunge, techno, new wave, etc. for the Gen-X crowd.

MJ is a mite compared to Cash.

Things that make Heretic facepalm in front of his computer:

A person reporting a post as a personal attack simply because someone essentially says that reading said person's posts makes him wish said person wasn't part of his political party...and then going on a rampage calling people idiots because they don't share his all-encompassing worship of Michael Jackson...and also referring to a specific person as a wannabe piece of shit who he wants to slap the shit out of.

Guuuhhhhhhh..............

I would agree that the "Fall of Communism" rates very high on the list but I think we need to amend that slightly. I think it needs to read "the fall of Communism in Russia". We still have a few vestiges of Communism around such as Cuba, North Korea, China, Vietnam, and others.

The MJ movie in the link you provided us has a 3.3/10 rating.
On that same site, Walk the Line has 8/10.

I didn't ask anything. I don't need to ask you any questions to realize the depths of your stupidity. Let me ask you this, though. Forty years from now, how many history books will include the date of Michael Jackson's death? If your answer is larger than zero you are sadly mistaken.

My wedding was two days after MJ died and until I saw the date he was posted on this thread I wouldn't have been able to tell you what day he died. I have no idea what I was doing when I found out he died. I don't remember where I was at. The only reason I even remember it was close to my wedding was because the band played a MJ medley in tribute. And I even love most of MJ's music.

I remember exactly where I was when Princess Di died. I remember exactly where I was when Johnny Cash died. I remember exactly where I was when I found out Kurt Cobain died and I was only 11.

I get that you like MJ. Nothing wrong with that. And his death was definitely big. But it is no where near a defining moment.

I'm sure I'll be called a giant fucking moron for this post, but I've been called way worse before by people who love me so I can live with that.
