It's obvious that you have a huge crush on MJ, but there is no way that his death is one of the ten biggest stories of the last 25 years.

Obviously, MJ seduced Gibby with warm milk and cookies. Then they snuggled and went night night.

Maybe it was important to you that MJ died, but to people who don't have fantasies of being wth him, it wasn't even close to a top 10 event of the past 25 years.

So because I recognize the significance of the death of the greatest entertainer and performer of all time...I'm gay now??

It's not just important to me,there are a lot more people who agree with me than those of you here

Set up a poll and see how many people see MJ's death as a top 10 event in the past 25 years.

Mike,

Please take a look at the Man in the Mirror. I'm thriller'd that you are boasting my death like it was a big deal. It's not that Black or White though. I don't even think Billie Jean King would agree with you. But Don't stop til you get enough of these OC'ers. I know it's bad. Do you remember the time the way you make me feel so much better than any other lil' boy did? I want to Rock with you until you make me scream. They don't care about us but I do.

Love,

Michael

It doesnt matter. Its still a sample size.

The fact that you had MJs death ahead of the Fall of the Wall, Katrina, Columbine, OK City, etc is just insane. You are comparing the world changing because of one mans death, which while trajeic in its own right, doesnt have hardly ANY CONSEQUENCES on the way the world moved forward. He was an entertainer, and without him we have to find a new way to be entertained. PLENTY of other things have not only completely changed the way we have to actually live our lives, but many more people died. They may not have been famous, so the media coverage isnt as big, but they were much, MUCH more significant to this world.

You can make the argument he is the biggest (celebrity) death, although I think many poeple have other answers, namely Princess Di. But MJ can be argued in that sense. Again, MJ was an entertainer and was worldwide so his death led to a bunch of media coverage and sadness. But Princess Di brought a lot more good to this world than MJ. MJ brough great music, Diana brought just about everything you could ask (like many other celebrity deaths).
