No fucking way that was a yellow! Spain doesn't do a bad job at diving, in fact their very good at it!

I believe that is why nobody really likes the Spanish. At least 2 of the yellow cards against the Dutch were due to diving and ridiculous selling. There is no room for that shit at this level ref, eject their ass the next time.

Which is funny to me, considering he's one of the biggest divers in the game.

Its not diving, its embellishing. I havent seen an actual dive from either team this game.

This has been a very uneventful match where it's been about the ref more than the players. What makes it even more amazing to me is, Webb the referee is English.

Bullshit, Spain dives at every chance they get! I'm not saying the Dutch haven't done it either but Spain has been ridiculous in this game.

The intitial play of the ball on that goal looked offside and I believe that's what the Dutch were complaining about after the goal. All in all, shameful display by the ref, it's been about him and not the players, too bad.

No doubt after watching the replay, the first cross in (which hit a Dutch player) was definitely offside when it was played.

however, the better team won, I believe.

a really tough day for Howard Webb......

I think if he would have let them play-on a bit earlier in the match, he would have kept alot of players from rolling on the ground.

That was disgusting officiating, worse by far than the USA-Slovenia game.

That ref deserved nothing less than a square kick in the balls at the end.

I didn't think the officiating was that bad. I mean, there were a lot of rough challenges early on. Hell, Netherlands should have gotten a red when the dude kicked the guy in the chest.

Alright....there was 1 dive this game by Iniesta in extra time. They were bitching and moaning, but thats on Webb. He should never have given out so many cards early and players wouldnt be looking for it every time.
