huh? if you are doing something wrong, or law enforcement is conducting an investigation and believe you are involved in some way shape or form, you would need to provide some information such as name and/or SSN(either verbally or to make it easier, just hand them your ID). you do know illegal citizens dont have SSNs right? or if they do, it wont match the name or physical description of the illegal citizen because they stole it from a legal citizen.

People have been wanting to get rid of Arpaio for a long time. They can't stand the fact that he doesn't worry about the "PC" crowd, he doesn't pussyfoot around, and he actually does his job with less costs.

As far as profiling goes, well now that's a double-edged sword isn't it?
We all know that racial profiling happens, but we also know that it isn't the norm and as prevalent as headlines and talking points would make it out to be.

Of course one of the ways you can stop profiling is for law enforcement to do away with descriptions.

They did, the traffic stop gives them the ability to order you out of the car and officer safety is the biggest reason. there are 2 seperate court cases, Pennsylvania v. Mimms for the driver and Maryland v. This may go down as one of the worst political blunders of the Obama administration and this Congress (with Obamacare a close second). There is absolutely no excuse for what is happening there, and Gov. Brewer (and SB1070) is being vindicated by the second. The American people know it, they're not buying the "Racism!" cries anymore, and the liberal media's attempts to spin this will not overcome voters' wrath in November.

Well that stretch of land was originally Mexico all the way up until the Gadsden Purchase. I'm sure some leftists believe it was wrong for us to buy land from Mexico, so in their minds it should still be owned by the Mexicans. For that reason they will do nothing to push the Mexicans out of "their land".

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't failing to defend America from all threats, both foreign and domestic, a dereliction of duty by the Commander in Chief? Is dereliction an impeachable offense? Or does it rise to the level of treason? If the Republicans win in 2 months, I hope they take this question on.

One other point to consider...Al Capone was coy enough to escape prosecution for all of his illegal acts, until he failed to pay taxes on them. We should send in the IRS to nab these guys and make sure they're paying their fair share to Uncle Sam, just like Capone. That way Obama won't have to soil his panties in arresting them for their real crimes against Americans.

They won't be able to take the question on because the Democrats can easily turn the question around on them.

Both groups have dropped the ball horrendously for quite some time. If you think Bush, or Clinton, or Bush Sr., also did all they could to stop the problem, you're nuts.

They had the power, and they did nothing, just like Obama is doing nothing.

And, both Republican and Democrat controlled Congresses have done nothing in regards to the problem.

I'm not saying it isn't a dereliction of duty, because i pretty much am disgusted with Obama in regards to this situation.

Just making the observation that bringing that up isn't possible because, if we're going to continue to play politics with it, the Democrats can simply bring up examples of how Republicans also didn't do enough and ignored the problem.

ALL in the fed. govt. over the last 15 years, at least, have had the power to stem the immigration problem but have done nothing because it is a political football, and they've been weak.

Doesn't matter if they're on the right, the left, a democrat, or republican.

I'm sick of this being a "political" thing.

Obama, because he is in charge, should do what is right and use force if necessary to secure the border.

Pretty fucking sad when the administration is more concerned with illegal immigrants civil rights than stopping the flood of them crossing the border. Shows just how much the people in D.C. care about this country. Not at all.

Is it just me or is it the fact that if you're patrolling a neighborhood predominately made up of latino people, and somebody gets pulled over, who is in fact latino, isn't that just odds/probability/case of numbers???
Same with neighborhoods that are mostly white? If a white person gets pulled over in that neighborhood, it's probably because that neighborhood is mostly white?

How is that impossible to avoid? The only way to avoid anything like that is for the government to tell people they have to live in a ratio-controlled neighborhood.
