I totally agree. And why people cannot see this is beyond me!

"ARIZONA FIGHTS BACK!"

Jan Brewer has had it with Obama it seems. So she is giving back as good as she got.

"Well, we all know that the majority of the people that are coming to Arizona and trespassing are now becoming drug mules," Brewer said. "They're coming across our borders in huge numbers. The drug cartels have taken control of the immigration."
http://www.cnn.com/2010/US/06/25/arizona.immigrants.drugs/index.html

Liberals are enraged right now with the drug mule comment. They are convinved she hates brown people, and frustrated that not only has this not turned into a political disaster for her and Republicans but calls to crack down on illegals are now migrating to other states as middle America has finally had enough.

Let's hope the momentum keeps growing steam.

How about a Brewer-Obama steel cage match? Winner calls all the shots regarding immigration.

Wow. That is ownage, I'll be the first to admit, the federal response has been pathetic as no one has the stones to make a move. The best chance was 2005/2006 and both parties threw the Bush proposals under the bus.

Get a load of this pompus ass. If you can stand to watch all 10 minutes of this moron you will see him mock American citizens some who are "legal" immigrants. Hard to believe he has a vote in congress. He is the chairman of the powerful ways and means committee. God save the republic.

Congressman Pete Stark should be taken to the border. In the area where these warning signs are up and be left to find his own way back to Washington. Provided he makes it back alive, it would be interesting if felt the borders are as safe as he proclaims them.

Fremont. Just a little south of San Francisco. That's pretty much all that's needed to know when dealing with the mindset and attitudes of the PC mentality of that area of the state. (don't get me wrong, I still love Cali, it's just a different world there)

This is becoming a trend with the democrats in political power, sorry to say.

I am a screaming liberal and probably the biggest Obama supporter on this blog.

Having said that, let me say something else. If we had started sending illegals back to Mexico in body bags fifty years ago, the present problems would not exist.

I know that's the ultimate goal, but I really don't think the average Americans are going to go for "amnesty". Not that I expect that to stop Obama from trying. Which is why I hope at least one part of Congress goes under Republican control in November.

I agree. I don't really understand why the U.S. is not allowed to defend our border. It's way too late for that now, if they did that there would be pictures on the news and hell to pay.

Obama is obviously courting the Latino vote. With the exception of Cuban-Americans in Miami, most Hispanics are Democrats. I don't blame him for not biting the hand that feeds him.

I got interrupted earlier by a phone call and didn't finish my thoughts, so I'll do that now.

People like Stark are becoming more prevalent as time goes by. They honestly do not understand why their constituents are turning against them. And they're starting to let their inner thoughts blurt out of their mouths because of their bewilderment. Big mistake on their part.
What this guy was thinking of, in the age of youtube, I have no idea. Not that I'm complaining - I think what they say and how they really think about the people who vote in their districts is enlightening to the general public. Politicians no longer have a healthy respect for their jobs. Especially at the federal level. And so now they're getting exposed. And because of that, their fellow politicians are now automatically on the defensive. Deriding the voters, trying to belittle them. Hell, the President is even guilty of it, with his challenging and mocking of the sentiments of the majority of Americans.

Apparently, they haven't learned their lesson by watching the republicans go through similar incidents and their fellow democrats.
Obviously, they have a learning disability and are unwilling to learn how to swim with the tides. So, whatever happens and whoever gets voted out, it's their own damn fault. They have nobody to blame but themselves and their over-elevated egos.
