I think die hard Cav's fans will be pissed, but some will come around while others will forever be bitter like they have been for years because of Cleveland sports in general. I know a lot of other people will still be a fan on his wherever he goes-- those are the same people that bought tickets to quite a few games this year. If that many of my friends feel that way, I gotta think it's like that with a lot of other people.

Because honestly, I'm quite the opposite. ALL of my friends who are Cavs fans (and also went to a # of games this year, including my self) will instantly make LeBron public enemy #1 should he leave.

My one friend who was a HUGE Bron fan and at one time felt he could go be a fan of any team LeBron went to should he leave, no longer feels that way. He can't let go of his Cleveland fandom. He also says if LeBron leaves, he's a moron. I agree.

I think the majority of the people you're speaking of don't live in Cleveland and therefore they don't buy as many tickets as you might think. I do believe that a lot of people in Akron will be fans of LeBron's no matter where he goes since that's his hometown but I think a lot of that population will still be Cavs fans (at least partially) as well.

Hoops, we get it. You're a Cleveland fan. It means the same exact thing as it did the last few times you've mentioned it. It's sad that people could be that bitter over a player. People have been on his nuts like a fly is on shit. But when he leaves, he'll be enemy #1. It's sad. You don't wanna see him go, but wish him the best and cheer for the guy.

Yeah, I don't want anybody thinking I'm wishing bad things for him, but I'm not going to cheer for the guy.

I don't wish ill-will on anybody, that's not a good thing to do.

I'm mainly saying I'm not going to wish for him to go somewhere else and win titles.

LOL I'm not sure why any Cavs fan would be expected to cheer for LeBron if he leaves. I root for LeBron because he plays for the Cavs, I don't root for the Cavs because LeBron plays for them. If he leaves despite the Cavs offering him the most amount of money (whether he takes that type of deal or not is irrelevant, fact still remains that they can offer him the most money) and a chance to win a title because he wants to go to a bigger market excuse me for not sympathizing with him. If he leaves my favorite team why should I root for him?

Now if he got traded that would be one thing. But if he willingly leaves? Fuck em' then...

People are acting like if LeBron leaves, it'll be the death of Cleveland. PLEASE show me where I said I wanted LeBron to leave? LeBron is my favorite player only because he plays for the Cavs. If he leaves, I'll no longer cheer for him. That doesn't mean I wish injury or death to the guy, because I'd never be that extreme over a game.

The franchise won't be the same if LeBron leaves.
Cavs fans will hate LeBron if he leaves.
Attendance levels were lower before LeBron and will fall off if he leaves.
