It's dub step music, electronically made--just one dude, he's a DJ. I'm guessing that it probably isn't your cup of tea because it isn't for MOST people. But here is a song that he remixed to get your warmed up first and the 2nd one is an original:

No, Crystal would have been the next Taylor Hicks. Her style is outdated and not marketable in today's music industry.

Lee has a very commercial voice. He will be putting out records for a while, in some form of a pop-rock band.

While I think Crystal had the better night on Tuesday....I still think America got it right. Lee is the most modern and most deserving to win. If they had American Idol in 1972...Crystal would have deserved to win.
I beg to differ. On Yahoo today, Crystal was the #1 search (then dropped to #2). Lee wasn't even in the top ten. Little girls are his fanbase. People who will actually purchase Crystal's records (like me) don't watch AI, nor do we vote on AI. Crystal will have a successful career. Just because her sound is "outdated" in your opinion does not mean she won't do well.

agree with this completely....
Crystal is an artist in the style of a Carole King, or a Jackson Browne, or a Carly Simon, or even a Janis Joplin...perhaps the first authentic artist/singer/songwriter/musicians to make it this far on AI. Most are clearly just singers and faces, and their long-lasting appeal is clearly fleeting in most cases. She will be fine.

This is what I was thinking. I don't watch AI, nor would I ever vote for it. However, I heard her on the radio here in Toledo (They went GAGA over her) and was blown away. Also, all the news stations around here replayed her performances, and I was impressed. Her song "Holy Toledo" is amazing. I would buy her album because she is a genuine pure artist, not some regurgitated pop bull shit.


SQ, I'm not saying that you are, but please don't lump me with the brain washed people out there. My statement about changing her image was simply a question because I'm afraid it would probably happen. Should she change? Personally No. Will she? If the $$$$$ is enough.
