The battle for the Ohio Cup concludes Monday.
A Tribe win means they tie for the Cup,but they would win the cup because I said so.

And, the Tribe wins the Cup because they have the Cup and a tie doesn’t lose it.
Or……the Reds win and take the Cup.
I was doing some homework on the Reds and see that they are 8-2 in their last 10 games and currently 2.5 games behind the Padres for the second wild card spot.
Also, I found out that the Reds have not won a playoff series since 1995. That’s a long time…..it’s Tribe frustration worthy stuff.
So…..if the Reds win this game I’m OK with it for their quest for the playoffs and keeping me interested in the post season.

Since July 1st Votto, Farmer and India are all OPSing over 1.000 and Winker is over 1.000 since ASB….now Castellanos back and Moose is back. Rookie Stephenson has been great.
I’ve been impressed because the plate approaches have been very good. The Reds lack athleticism and it hurts in the OF some and baserunning is not good. Bullpen is improved but David Bell has not.
It’s baseball, anything can happen….but the Reds are playing very well and have been for the better part of 2 1/2 months.

Yes! Absolutely on Tito for not giving him a fair shot once he got healthy. He doesn’t need to hit .300 with 30 bombs to be helpful. His speed, defense and arm are all plus-plus. If he hits .250 with 15HRs that’s a great addition to the lineup. Anything more is a bonus.
I mean, they had the guy re-vamp his swing completely. He does, and starts the year off slow (2019 I believe) and is sent down not to be seen again until this year. Just an organizational miss-handling through and through.
