Ogandi starts the 9th and gives up a double and is yanked.  Allen in.

I didn't think that was a swing by Kipnis.

Agree.

Well...good try.

Shit...

Go Tribe.

Merritt pitched last night for Columbus to begin his rehab assignment, four runs over four innings.

Tomlin has no place in the bullpen, I see three more starts before he is DFA

Loved the way the Tribe kept battling back, but concerned that Allen still isn't pitching the way we've become accustomed to...his numbers are good, but anyone who watches him on a regular basis knows he's been struggling, giving up too many walks while putting too many guys on base for an elite closer (which I consider him to be)...he just doesn't look confident, or comfortable, out there.

Kipnis continues to be useless. Pretty much overall, but definitely in the 2-hole. Enough is enough.

Why is Kip batting 2nd instead of 7th?

I watched the Indians get runners on the bases for Kip to suck. Made a trip to store and back home and see Lindor homered and turned game back on with 1 out in the 5th...now Bauer can’t get anyone out for me to watch. I’m not turning it....if they lose 15-1, oh well.

Bauer showing up Lindor after Bauer lulls the defense to sleep with his shitty control and Frankie messed one up but then Bauer being  the great teammate slings his glove to the ground in disgust.

Bauer may be intense but he sure seems selfish.

Lol, flyball to LF about 20 ft short of warning track and Brantley lets runner tag from 2nd and get to 3rd. Goodness

Bauer struggling out of the stretch. 42 pitch inning but ends with a 98 mph missle to bottom inside corner to fan Judge for the 3rd time.

Hammy is having a few words to say about that glove throwing.  At the end he says, I haven't seen anything like that since my son was in little league.

4-2 in the 6th.

Oh shit Zimmer. One of the 5 hardest I’ve seen an OF hit the wall. That was a car wreck. I admire the effort but damn that was violent.

How would Bauer like it if the catcher threw his glove in disgust during those walks?

Lindor errored on aplay that has to be made but taking 15 minutes to walk batters and walk in a run definitely affects the defense staying on their toes. Bauer failed in the first half of that inning and his defense followed suit the 2nd half of the inning.

Lindor with three errors in last two games—maybe he needs to be smacked around a little...tough love, you know

Bauer didn’t pick himself up in time, Lindor didn’t pick up Bauer and Ramirez with his half-assed effort didn’t pick up Lindor

It was an awful 1/2 inning...and gonna cost them. Hopefully tomorrow goes better but if not they can get the hell out of Dodge and recover elsewhere.

Blah.

And I'm not giving up on Kipnis just yet, but he needs to be moved out of the two hole.

I know most are saying it was a bad look for Bauer, but I kinda liked that emotion—sometimes I wish Tito would show a little of that fire when these guys play like shit.

I love that he’s pissed but hate the way he showed it. I love a good fiery ball player, but rarely rarely like it when they show up a teammate...especially Lindor....now had he been pissed at himself 3x that inning that would be something else. No one really did their job that inning.
