I look at it this way. Twins have a very favorable schedule compared to us. But we just got through 6 of those above .500 games and they are 6 less vs below .500 and only lost 1 game in those 6. That’s a win. Obviously need to make hay when Twins play good teams and we play bad. But that week stretch is a win.

Marlins and Royals are awful. Houston is obviously great and LAA is solid (we knocked them below .500). LAA may tank with their schedule, but can’t do anything about that.

Now we welcome Texas, above .500 and fighting for WC. Of course we get their top 2 pitchers, but gotta take 2/3. Twins playing Braves — that’s the type of series, even at home, we need Twins to lose to come back on them. That and obviously head to head games.

And there goes Salazar to the IL. Supposedly his groin was keeping his velocity down last night. Woof. So Clev, Plutko, Bieber, Plesac...

Olson also to the IL

May have been mentioned on other threads but Salazar is likely done in Cleveland. Normally a player would be told to "go to the facility to rehab" but they told him "go home."

Maybe because he didn’t disclose his groin problem prior to his appearance.
