I just got done watching all the highlights and I’m going to say that Baker did a really great job of saving this game.

I wish him well and hope that he recovers because he does have amazing athletic ability, but I don't think that this hurts the team at all. I'd love to see a break down of Baker's career stats in games with OBJ and games without OBJ.

I think OBJ did a ton for the offense that wasn’t noticed. Helped open up running lanes on second level. Created space for underneath routes. Obviously the immense talent with ball in his hands.
But, I think Baker maybe looked his way initially too often. Without a true #1, he seems to make quicker decisions and spread the ball around.
I think the team overall is worse without him, but Baker might be better. Especially with the way Baker is successful. So, potentially a net positive as an NFL team goes as the QB goes.

posted by Laley23Had the same discussion with my friends today. OBJ goes down and all of a sudden Baker goes thru his progressions and slings it like he did his rookie season. Maybe he felt the pressure to get the ball to OBJ? I guess we will see, but I obviously hope we see this baker going forward.I think OBJ did a ton for the offense that wasn’t noticed. Lots of defensive help starting to become available on the trade market.
- Stephon Gilmore
- Deion Jones
- Harrison Smith
- Myles Jack
- Justin Simmons
- JJ Watt
I’d love for the Browns to try and acquire 2 of them (Watt seems un-needed though). Gilmore immediately makes the secondary viable. Jones and Jack immediately would help the LB core. Harrison Smith would probably be relatively cheap and is a big time playmaker, though his overall game has obviously declined from All-Pro.

The price tag for Watt would be too high, but pass rushers are like pitchers. You can never have too many good pass rusher.

Strange game: 3 - 6 halftime
Strange weather: 45 degrees with mix of sun, rain, snow, wind

6-6. Baker threw a dime and Landry bobbles it. He missed an easy one earlier too. Ugh

The defense is also absolute fucking trash.
And Baker hasn’t even been bad, no one is doing anything for him

Only able to watch 2nd and 3rd. But for the defense to not force a single punt in that weather is borderline fire-able. Just pathetic. Make a damn trade.

The defense was terrible today. #13 and #83 were open on every pass play. The Raiders offensive line dominated up front. They ran it right down our throats. The linebackers suck in both the run game and pass game. Why did we give up on Joe Schobert? He's better than everyone that we have, and he wanted to stay here. On offense, we had way too many drops, especially in crucial situations.

Browns only had 6 drives yesterday. Great job on the defense on never getting off the field, especially on 3rd downs. Truly fucking pathetic effort.

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen that before. 6 drives almost sounds impossible. Then Raiders only score 16

Houston defense is about done fighting. Offense putrid.
