That guy also forgets to mention that Corey Williams wasn't a starter with Green Bay. He was a situational pass rusher.KnightRyder wrote: this guy seems to think otherwise http://bleacherreport.com/articles/313854-switching-to-a-4-3-defense-would-do-wonders-for-the-browns-holmgren
He also fails to realize that it's the 46, and not the 43, that would benefit Wimbley more because the 46 defense is designed to put an elite pass rusher out on an island with the LT or RT, whichever side the defense prefers.
He is trying to convince us that Maiava is also starting material, and that he's good in coverage (one of his weaknesses at USC).
He does make a good point about D'Qwell. D'Qwell would do very well as a WILL, think Lance Briggs. But he wouldn't play ILB, IMO.
Also Elam would play more of a Rover position (think Georgia defense), in which the safety comes up and plays more like a linebacker, sort of like a 44 defense, or 46 defense.
This guy doesn't know the difference between a 46 bear, or a 43. Which is why he writes for The Bleacher Report.
