Caleb Williams should be put on suicide watch. He looks like he hates life. And I don’t blame him.

Titans, Raiders, Giants, Bears. Idk where you start trying to fix these teams. Saints, Browns, Jaguars could also be in there.

Browns are not in a good position solely due to lack of a legit QB. If they had adequate play from that position they wouldn't be a playoff team this year but they'd have 7-8 wins.
Compound the fact that players like Garrett & Ward are now demanding to know the QB plan, going forward, to determine whether they want to stay with the franchise.
Good chance MG95 doesn't finish his career as a Brown. A bit of speculation that he gets moved next year for multiple 1st's to position themselves to go al in for Arch Manning.
The Browns have wasted Garrett's career like the Bengals have wasted Burrow's (to date).

Again, back to QB play. During Watt's time they've had a declining Roethlisberger, Pickett and TBD with Russell Wilson. If Pittsburgh doesn't somehow get an opening round playoff home game (pretty doubtful), that streak could continue. Although they might have a better chance this year with who they'd likely face in the opening round....unless it's the Bills.

No, it's coaching. They've only won 3 playoff games in the last 15 years. Tomlin hasn't won shit without Cowher's coaches and players.
TJ has been in the league since 2017, one of Ben's best years. 2018 was a career year for Ben.

Most of Watt's tenure, Pittsburgh really had no business winning many of their games (especially against Baltimore) with the horrific QB play. The fact that they did was a credit to Tomlin and his staff (minus that goof OC (Canada) they had a couple of years ago). They have found a way to muck up games with their defense, keep it close and then steal it in the end. Team's can only do that for so long before it catches up to them.
I'll give you 2017/2018 but since then, their QB play has been dogshit, just like the Browns.
I think Tomlin's a great "rah rah" motivator but not that great in the X's & O's, especially clock management, but there's something to be said for the above .500 streak he's had.
As a Browns fan, since the passing of Roethlisberger's hey day, my fear going into a game has never been "oh shit, how will they contain Pittsburgh's offense?" There's been no fear of that and actually a confidence that the Browns would shut them down. The fear has always been "fingers crossed the Pittsburgh defense doesn't score 2 TD's or the Browns gift them points."
Until Pittsburgh gets an offense that people fear, they will continue to have early playoff exits.

Tomlin is the most overrated coach in all of sports history. He owes about 98% of his lone SB win to Cowher's players and coaches. This is his offense - been pretty much the same with multiple OC's and QBs (including 2 HOFers).
The non-losing season thing is grossly overrated, and able to be accomplished only by a coach that doesn't have a mandate to win playoff games. You would coach and prepare your team differently if you were trying to win a championship, and then you'd likely have some losing seasons. It's why they've been getting absolutely curb stomped in the playoffs with their predictable, simple and conservative schemes. But it's effective in the regular season sitting around waiting for your opponent to lose the game.
And about those playoffs....Historically horrendous the past 5 losses. Outscored 66-0 in Q1. Trailed by 21+ in each game. Gave up an average of 40 points. Oh, and have lost at least 3 straight in 5 of the last 7 seasons after Thanksgiving.
Not even Marvin Lewis survives that. Which is what Tomlin is, Marvin Lewis with a much better front office.

Sean Peyton
To clinch the playoffs:
Convert a 2 pt conversion against the Bengals
Instead, he chose: (multiple options)
Win 50/50 toss and drive length of field for a TD
Lose 50/50 toss and stop Bengals offense from scoring a TD and then drive 50+ yards and then kick a 40+ yard FG
Does the great mind of Sean Payton not have that one unused special play for a huge occasion to get 2 1/2 yards?
Enjoy beating the Chiefs to make the playoffs. Chiefs won’t be laying down. If they get lucky they’ll still be in that #7 seed and likely at Buffalo. A W today and maybe next week and could’ve gotten the Texans.
Payton had extra time to think about it…..crazy

Big day for Frank Ryan, Gary Collins, Jim Brown, and Paul Warfield. I think that was the first year of the isolated camera replay. My dad and I, after each big pass completion, anxiously awaited the shot of the pass receiver and what moves he made to get open. The year it started to be more enjoyable to experience a game from home rather than at the game!

Tua is out
Richardson is out
Both teams that the Bengals need to lose going without their QB
If they can sneak in the playoffs will be more interesting . Steelers, Broncos, Texans ( without Tank) aren’t competing against the big 3
I still say beware the Chargers

Colts and Fins will still win with Flacco & Huntley. Browns aren't going to blow a shot at a top 3 draft pick. DTR is atrocious.

If they don’t score 35 I’d be pretty surprised. Steelers defense has been Swiss cheese for a month. Bengals defense has been a bit better.
If they can’t beat this Steelers team….they don’t deserve any chance at playoffs

If Seattle wins at Rams next week the Rams 99% likely get in due to the 5th tie breaker being strength of wins….could clinch this weekend if 4 teams they’ve already defeated this year win tomo
