Every few minutes my screen switches to what appears to be some sort of SEARCH page.

Any help?

Happens on my tablet, but not my phone and laptop.

This is what Auto and I posted about. I still have it happen each time I go back to the home screen or a thread.

Chrome, Win10

I'm posting this from Chrome on a Windows 10 machine and I have been unable to reproduce what you're seeing. I tested in Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, clicking around and 50 times in each browser and did not see the search page appear once.

Never mind, just duplicated it. I never save passwords in the browser. Once I did that, I started seeing it. Easy fix for now is to delete the save password for Ohio Chatter and not save it again until I've figured out why it's happening. Let me know if you need help figuring out how to do that.

It was basically caused by a stupid bug (and potential security risk) in chrome by autofilling your saved username and passwords into the first input boxes it found on the site, even if you are logged in (obvious from what you guys were seeing). I basically had to add to dummy input boxes and hide them so chrome fills them and ignores the search bar. 

Seems like it could be bad news if you had a browser extension installed or ran malicious code that could add hidden inputs at the top of a page and potentially collect that information. I don't like saving username and password in browser in general, but seeing this in action really hammers that home for me.

I now see a ton of searches in the search table that are just usernames, meaning a ton of you were getting that weird search issue. Why did only 3 people complain about it? That would've driven me nuts and I would've been bitching every day until it was fixed.

From the launch however many days ago...I didnt start to see the issue until like a week ago or whenever I complained. It hasnt been a thing this whole time, at least not for me.

Looks like ptown and Spock were getting it the worst.

I am mobile most days on this site. Monday and Wednesday nights are really only time I am laptop. And I dont think it was ever an issue for me on the phone

Never had an issue with this. 

I will add one thing, though, and that’s with my old iPad....... all the posts appear scrambled, like mixed and scrolling is very difficult. 

So I just use my phone or desk top.....no big deal.

Vertical or horizontal with your ipad? If vertical, that doesn't surprise me.

I have no issues posting from my phone.

It’s sideways because I didn’t crop it, but it posted without issue. This is from Safari.
