Do you not recall how OC would fail to load like 50 times a day back in our glory days? It was always a cloudflare issue.

It wasn't a cloudflare issue, it was a server issue. Cloudflare was just a middleman between the server and the website.

Yep, it was the Cloudflare name on that "you ain't gettin' into the site today, bitch!" page that always came up when the site went down. So they get the blame and that's that!
