Yup. Been a thing that each administration does. Trumps EO overturned Obama, Obama's overturned Ws, Ws overturned Clinton, etc.
The number has increased because Congress can't do shit, so the President uses their own power. There is an over reliance on EOs.
I would love if Congress could function so to limit the need for these.

Everybody is trashing this Sanchez woman (Bezo's gf or wife) because of her choice of outfit. I'm going to say that I don't care about her clothes, because she's not an important person. Good for him. That kid's in a tough spot in life - trying to go about his days as a college kid when your dad's the POTUS and polarizing. Seems like a nice enough young man.
I think it would suck being the child of a president, especially for teens. They can't really get into shenanigans that are the rite of passage for teens with any sense of privacy.
So I just now got around to listening to Trump's speech. He still is a terrible orator imo. But whoever wrote that speech did a fantastic job. That to me was probably the best written speech I've heard since Bill Clinton's speech for Hillary in 2016.
And the fact that he bitched slapped the Dems right to their faces for all the world to see was ballsy.

Really? As someone like you who said you are against more needless wars, thought you would be against the end, the whole Manifest destiny part. That, in US history, has been bloody, full of wars, and led to a lot of death and destruction.

This is one I am ticked at. I understand ending asylum at the border, but refugees that have already been vetted not being allowed to enter the US from Afghanistan is fucked up. These people were already cleared and ready to come over, and are now under threat from the Taliban.
I've also heard from local folks in Columbus where flights were canceled where people were expecting their already vetted family members to arrive. Those people are now in limbo.

I get that. But, we owe the people of Afghanistan the option if they can, the ability to resettle in this country, especially if they helped us during the war.
We have done that to other war zones in the past, probably most famously with Vietnam. These folks are no different to me. It's what makes America America.
I hope Trump does not totally shut down the program.
