Dems seem to be a little better at closing ranks or cajoling dissent.  But if they had a narrow majority in the House like the Repubs had I think they would also struggle with their far left radicals holding them hostage.

But also a bit of a red herring because nothing purely partisan in the House is getting past the filibuster in the Senate.  Except both parties have done big things via budget reconciliation, which is bullshit.

They are A LOT better at it.  I always give them credit for it too.  Nancy is an all time politician, and I am wondering what the impact will be when she leaves.

I just listened to Michelle Obama's speech. In this speech she is scolding men for not wanting to vote for Kamala, adding in the abortion issue.

This woman.

It was HER damn husband who made all those promises during his campaign to start working to codify Roe v Wade on day one; and when he won that election he immediately said it wasn't his priority.

She goes on to scold 3rd party voters, again assuming that they are all men. I wrote in my choice and I'm not a man. Fucking presumptuous bullshit.

Did anybody working for Kamala's campaign learn a lesson from the backlash that came after Barack Obama's talking down to people?!

The absolute tone deafness of it all.

yeah but if you read the full wikileaks document, you'll know why her and Barack are pushing the way they are pushing for this.  Citigroup is bracing for a bad year and need to make sure their puppets are in the right spots.

Dems wonder why they have a problem appealing to males, and then think Walz and AOC streaming Madden is going to help. Then they are flipping their shit, at least on Twitter, about a COMEDIAN making jokes. And comparing an election rally to a Nazi rally bc it was at the same place is a new level of stupid. The Dems themselves have held 3 conventions at MSG. There were an awful lot of Jews and blacks at a white supremacist rally yesterday.

They have a problem appealing to males because of the "toxic masculinity" bullshit they've been spewing for a while now. If you're a white male (no racist intent, so no reason for some to get triggered), you're the enemy. Plus the Dem's don't have Alpha's. The males are a bunch of Beta Boys, which is what they want.

The response to the rally at MSG has been hilarious (and incredibly predicatable)

Trump MAGA men are the definition of beta male.

We have Trump’s Chief of Staff warning us that Trump discussed the use of nukes and had to be talked down.  But yeah, we’re worried about Kamala. If you love Trump or just hate democrats you’ll just willfully ignore anything said about the man. That’s why no one takes you guys serious.

So the president is not allowed to discuss the use of nukes?

Beta males who constantly call themselves "Alpha" despite how their entire existence revolves around following and praising another person.

Exactly.  Betas, to me, are people who follow someone unconditionally.  The people at these rallies and with the over-the-top MAGA behavior are exactly that.

Just for shits and giggles, but -

I don't see any MAGA men being called wifeguys and then taking it as a compliment.

While I agree that the alpha/beta male thing is kinda stupid, I imagine that if you have lived in an urban area your whole life, your choices are not as varied. Then I suppose the choices you have are varied by financials and less about ruggedness.

Kind of my point with the "toxic masculinity" comment. "Wifeguys", as you call them, see anyone with a drop of testosterone in their system as being the enemy. By "beta", I'm referring to the soft, effeminate type "male."

Part of being a true “alpha” is intelligence as well.  From my perspective, Trump has the stupid vote locked down.

The same could be said for anyone that thinks this insanity (4 more years of the same old shit, or worse) is a good idea.

Except that asshole accomplished positive things when he was the POTUS. The current crew in charge has been a disaster.

In fairness, stupid people vote both ways.

Agreed.  His message is purposely simple, like a kid on a playground.

Sitting down with Shannon Sharpe speaking with broken grammar and a fake accent is not going to win them over either.

Probably because the majority of the "stupid" people that are voting for him are the non-college degreed working class. You know, the group that the Dems have alienated?

Not the people I have in mind at all.  Non-degreed's got nothing to do with it.  Plenty of degreed morons in the MAGA camp.

Well the majority of those showing Trump's approval with the non-degreed is higher than Harris' while she has higher approval with the degreed so good chance there's a higher amount of degreed morons voting for her.

Regardless, I think Trump's message is geared toward anger and stupidity. It resonates even though there is no substance to it.  Giant tariffs that will protect American industry, shipping immigrants out, going after MSM...all things that angry people can feast upon, but no more real than the "big, beautiful wall" Mexico was going to pay for.  It's more "my dad can beat up your dad" type stuff.
