Yikes!  Kluber goes into the 9th, gives up a hit, and after 2 outs, Allen comes in and gives up a hit and a homer, but we hang on to win 6-5.

Whew. But that's what winning is about.

(Side note: Brantley now at .344, Naquin .292)

Naquin sucks (ignores fact he has hardest hit ball profile on team)

Brantley is really having a great start to the year. I’d really like to see a change at the top of the order with Kipnis.

  1. Lindor
  2. Brantley
  3. Edwin
  4. Ramirez
  5. Yonder

Problem is Kipnis/Zimmer/Naquin being lefties. Tito won’t put 3 in a row. And Gomes would almost have to go into the 6 hole in this scenario since the aforementioned 3 lefties won’t hit 6th or behind Yonder. Regardless, Kipnis cannot continue to hit 2nd all year if this lineup is going to compete with the best in the AL.

Kent went over 400 HR I’m quite sure. Is the 377 2nd base only?

377, but maybe some were not when he was at 2nd? This astounds me......in all of baseball...Jeff Kent.

Cano is at 303.

........Laley: I agree with you on moving Kipnis out of the 2 spot.

WTF, Carrasco is getting rocked.

3-0 with one out in the first. Two run homer and solo shot. And the one out was nearly a homer.

Jesus, it's 10-1.

Now 10-3 after a Yonder 2 run dinger. B4.

Carrasco couldn’t locate anything today.

And McCallister is just not good.

12-4 final. Geez.

Now I have to rely on Tomlin tomorrow or I pass the baton.

I would have hated to have been there for this game, but 19,000 some were.

Go Tribe.

And McCallister is just not good.

Does he pitch in any sort of leverage situation.

I think he is what he is, eats innings in losses to protect the rest of the bullpen.

I'd swap Jose and EE, for both production and then you won't go 3 LHB in a row.

  1. Lindor
  2. Brantley
  3. Ramirez
  4. Edwin
  5. Yonder
  6. Kipnis
  7. Gomes / Perez
  8. Naquin / Guyer
  9. Zimmer

Tomlin goes six innings and gives up six runs. 6-2 on a Guyer homer.

I had a good run, but now it's time to pass the baton to someone else and see if they can get this bull shit turned around.

Go Tribe.

14-12 with 1 game left in April and a 3 game lead in the division. The good news is we are about a month away from when EE starts to hit baseballs consistently. It's absurd how horrible he is in April and early May.

Putting it like that makes me feel better. I remember a WHOLE bunch of Aprils that endedat like 8-18.
