14-27. I forgot they were on last night, turned it on partway through and it was already 8-0 or something like that. And that was the end of that.

14-28.

14-29! The fun never ends!

14-30. They lost 11-0 today. And are in a place where .500 is the best they can do for the season. Odds are probably a bit greater that they'll finish 0-16 than 16-0, but whatever.

14-31 AND 14-32.

Got swept in a doubleheader. It'd be kind of funny if they just stayed stuck on 14 the rest of the way. Think it's at about 6 losses in a row, so another 14 and that's that for that!

14-33. Another day, another loss. Worthless cunts.

14-34. In just four games over three days, we've put the Reds back into playoff contention. YOU'RE WELCOME, CINCINNATI!

And I was looking forward to ending the year on a 20-game losing streak.

Oh well...15-34.

As a side-note, I'm pretty sure I did NOT have "Steven Brault Throws A 2-Hitter" on my Bingo card for this season.

15-35 and 15-36 after a doubleheader loss.

In the second game, they only gave up one earned run...but six unearned. Three errors will do that to you!

And now the Reds are out of the playoffs thanks to that. You dick.

Man, you should have known the race was lost the very second you had to count on our inept asses to do ANYTHING. That win yesterday was more than anyone should have expected!

15-37 and 15-38 after yesterday and today.

Both losses played out the same, with the score  being the only real difference. Pirates led for a good bit of the game and got rare quality starts from Keller and Musgrove...and the the bullpen came into the game in the 7th and blew it. Five runs yesterday and two runs today, leading to one-run losses.

These final seven games can't end soon enough.

15-39. Cleveland fans should be overjoyed to end their season with us. Ought to be helpful for playoff positioning.

At least we only had 3 guys in the starting line-up last night with averages under .200. It had been 5/9 the last couple games.

16-39. Who'd have thought Steven Brault would have multiple-ace caliber starts down the stretch? Not me. Who'd have thought the bullpen would immediately blow the lead for him? Me. Who'd have thought they'd still wind up winning? Definitely not me. 

And, uh, I definitely wasn't expecting one of our top prospects to get arrested for supposedly DUI-killing three people in the Dominican Republic. That's a nice addition to the shit sundae this season's been.

17-39. Two in a row; they're on fire! Might be the second-longest winning streak of the year, behind that time where they won three in a row.

18-39. WE'RE ON FIRE!!! Hell, even Williams was serviceable yesterday to improve his record on the year to a sparkling 2-8. If this was a 162-game season, he'd be a 22-game loser, but yesterday, he was a winner!
