Yes, but other things need to happen. The next game is huge for this group and their chances. If Iceland wins they most likely fucked, but still a slim chance they could go.

Not confident. But Nigeria has some solid players and should control midfield/possession. Not great finishers, which is why I think draw. 0-0 or 1-1. Could be 1-0 either way though. I’d bet 65% draw, 35% result for someone.

Also thought this was the late game. Just looked and see 0-0 at half. Nigeria dominating possession and midfield, and zero shots lol. Iceland seems to have created some counter chances. Anyone watching? I’m stuck moving into the new house and no cable or internet yet.

Rather boring so far. Iceland just packing it in, not letting them do anything.

Assuming Croatia doesnt lose to Iceland, Argentina only has to beat Nigeria by 2. Correct?

If Iceland wins, they need to win by 2, but also total goals then comes into play as next tiebreak, right?

Was just reading that tiebreak. It’s the 7th one but in reality, if the teams in question tied, half the tiebreakers are going to be tied as well lol). And yes, it could happen. 

Basically, if they both win their next game by the same amount, that’s what will happen. 

No idea why goals against isn’t the 4th tiebreak after goals scored. Could still end up in this situation, but would give another tiebreak that makes sense before fucking cards handed out lol.

Yeah that seems like a terrible tiebreaker haha
