24 points in an NBA AS game quarter could take like 2-3 minutes.

They will be trying at that point. And the losing team will likely need closer to 35.
Kyrie is having an okay game.
"NBA can really suck my dick for all I care" - Jaxson Hayes, after being left off the rising stars team. I forget who he plays for and don't care enough to look it up. The Pelicans maybe.

Last post for the night. I don’t think Kobe’s passing is ever going to sink in.
I’m not sure how the expect these guys to actually play basketball tonight. Bron was in tears. Quinn Cook could barely stand up.

It doesn’t seem real.
Those if you that remember Hank Gathers and Loyola Marymount....and what Bo Kimble did after he passed. I expect a lot of that play from Lebron. Hope Lebron can make this a special season for Lakers and fans. High expectations.
Watched the end of the Magic - Knicks game for some reason. Magic down two bringing the ball up the court with ten seconds left. Play ends up a bust and magic never get a shot off. Magic coach (Steve Clifford?) is trying to call timeout the entire time but doesn’t get it because the refs dont see him. What a stupid fucking system. Of course the refs aren’t looking at the coach on the opposite side of the court during the play.
Can the coach call timeout during live action?

...I always thought so? Team inbounds the ball and runs up the court to their sideline and calls a timeout is technically live action right.
You can during NBA2K anyways lol

Yeah, but players call that.
Anyway, I know it was a proposed rule change. But not sure if it was implemented.
Yeah, coaches cannot call a live ball TO

Fair enough and reps for the info. Blame the Magic’s commentators for not knowing that rule as well.

I take it back. What I was reading had confusing wording, but it appears they did not put that rule into place.
Sorry I can’t get tweets on here but anything other than a link....but check this out

Good job NBA, you sucked me into caring about the dunk contest after I swore I couldn’t.
Best I’ve ever seen. Dumb they didn’t both win considering the format. Some of the best dunks and smoothest the dunk contest has seen. Ridiculous ending. Judges should’ve talked and tied it at worst.
