Was Eddie Collins ever the active leader?  He's in the Hall.

He was for a couple years but he’s almost 20 HR ahead of the answer

I think I’ll be moving from HOF questions to questions of current, players not eligible for HOF and players with great careers and or seasons.....so move over Eddie Murray, Paul  Molitor and Don Sutton...here comes Fred McGriff, Juan Gonzalez and Jim Kaat

There it is....29 career HR and was active leader with only 190 SB at the time! Crazy

Question #151

HOFer Carlton Fisk was a catcher that played in 4 decades...crazy! There are actually two other catchers that played in 4 decades (almost 3 others)

Name those other 2 catchers

How about Tim Mc Carver? I think he started in the 50's and i know he was catching in the late 70's not sure if he made it to 1980.

Jim Hegan?

RIP to his son, Mike also. Man the radio broadcasts just aren’t the same without him by Hammys side.

That’s about my extent on knowledge of Catchers, outside of the ones I know didn’t play long enough/in 4 decades.
