Trimble beat Cuyahoga Heights 47-21 to advance to their second title game in school history.
Orrville has a sophomore running back:
"His 53 touchdowns give him 318 points on the season, the fifth highest single-season total in Ohio prep history. His next TD will put him into the No. 3 spot, and he needs 31 points to break the state record of 348 points set in 2016 by Daniel Bangura of Canal Winchester Harvest Prep." (from the Toledo Blade)
His name is Marquel Parks.
Licking Valley lost to Girard 53-48. They took the lead 48-47 on a 2-pt conversion with only a few minutes left, but couldn't keep Girard out of the end zone.

I'm dating myself, but in the mid 90's Orrville had 2 wr's named Renauld Ray and Marcell Denson that were probably even better basketball players. I often joke that Marcell Denson was the greatest athlete to ever play in our gym, and he didn't go to our school. How does this young man compare to him?
^^^^ Parks is only 5'9" 155 while Denson was 6'4" 200 some.

BRF....congrats on the state title.
Congrats BRF.
My High School couldn't get it done this morning but they return 18 starters next year. I would rather see them win it in the Shoe instead of Stark county.
Wow! I thought I would be the first to post here about it and you guys beat me to it!
49-34
13-2 record
D-5 Champions

Yes, I had to stop and think about it myself.
Justin...you from Licking Valley?
