#Enjoyhim: Tribe thread until they prove they deserve a series thread

thought I'd break this guy out--it's been a while

And we have no new thread and we are getting our asses kicked by the ChiSox. 

Well, we are back to losing to shit teams.

Im still trying to comprehend the cognitive dissonance of gutting the offense and abdicating the division crown to “ Enjoy Frankie  while you can”. Michael Brantley would look sooo good in this lineup now.

What we are seeing is typical of a rebuilding team ... a lot of inconsistency. 

Some observations...

Jordan Luplow is a player.

Jake Bauers ... I’m not impressed.

Robbie Perez in his 1st full season as a regular is decent enough to have taken some of the sting out of the Gomes deal.

JRam needs Carlos Santana hitting behind him.

Oscar Mercado Is the player that Greg Allen should be.

One year ago today, "stuff" came our way from the Dominican Republic.

I don’t get it. ^^^^^^^

Lindor hits a homer to lead off the game. Then a single and double but no more runs. 

Bauer escapes bases loaded situation. 

You know what I don’t get? Why you bunt with your 8-hole hitter after a leadoff single with a guy who can easily take 2nd...and has a huge lead-off because he seems to know the pick-off move. Not to mention, he has given up 4 hits through 7 batters and it is a 1-0 count. No shocker, the 9-hole hitter isn’t all that great and doesn’t come through, so it was a wasted out and he did not score.

Goddamnit I am going to have a conniption over Tito’s insistence on sac bunts.

That may be, but only because Tito doesn’t frown upon it. He needs to tell them NOT to. Not only to blame when he calls it himself. Lastly, it’s just idiotic to play for 1 run with this team. Not only do we need the potential for a big inning more than a run (because we likely won’t get many chances for anything later), but these starters are not having the years we are accustomed to. No reason to act like we are going to be holding the opponent to under 3 runs. Stop giving away outs.

And this 4th inning...sheesh. These guys are a mess in the field.

We suck. 

I never thought I’d say this, but I miss Jim Rosenhaus. Hammy is pissing me off with his “going nuts” act while lauding the opponent’s defensive plays. 

1-1 in the 4th. How will we blow this one?

Well, whatta ya know?  We didn’t blow it. 

We did lose Rodriguez, though, to tightness in the lat.
