Shame the Browns couldn't get what they really wanted in this trade, a WR.

posted by SportsAndLadyIs David Johnson not explosive anymore? Is he just a change of pace, 3rd down back now? Because his YPC are awful, too.
No, his coaching is just terrible and they run him straight into a crowded d-line. Which is what happened with Hyde. Defenses knew when Hyde was getting the ball they weren't trying to break it outside.
He was running fine, he just was set up to fail by Hue.
Both Chubb and Johnson were faster, stronger and quicker than Hyde coming into the league. It’s not crazy to think Hyde has lost a few steps as he is 28. Johnson is only 26 and Chubb is obviously way younger as a rookie.
I wouldn’t expect Hyde to be anything more than the second player in a platoon the rest of his career.
Appreciate Hyde but I'm not going to miss him. He was solid but not explosive. Kind of reminds me when they had Jamal Lewis & Jerome Harrison. J-Lew left a lot of yards on the field and was slower to recognize holes. Hyde was also clogging up the RB room and taking away touches probably from Duke more than Chubb. Just hope Chubb has improved his pass blocking because that's why he hasn't seen the field a ton.
He saw 7 snaps last week. I don’t care how bad you are in pass pro, that’s on coaching. 16 rushes in 6 games...

I know it's tipping your hand but no reason Chubb couldn't have been in on obvious running downs (1st, 3rd and short) when pass blocking wasn't required. Makes you wonder if some of the long(er) runs that Hyde broke might have been taken to the house by Chubb?
I also don't think they are done trading. I could see guys like Jamie Collins & TT moved before October 30th
Could definitely see TT being moved. There's no reason to keep him, and if you can get anything for him, get it done. If Baker gets hurt, Stanton can lead this team to a top 3 pick which is exactly what we'd want.
That being said, It's crazy how many players Dorsey has sent away in trades. I trust him, but damn I hope he knows wtf he's doing.

After seeing what he did in KC, I'm pretty confident he does.
A lot of us got excited about a couple of wins when, in reality, this team's about a season, and a new HC, away from making some real noise. They have some real good starters but their depth ( next man up) is killing them, especially at WR.
Was going to watch some of this Browns/Bucs game but this Sam Rosen dude May keep that from happening. Holy crap that’s a bad voice
Give Browns punt team 2 points
Those play calls on the 1 inch line?
So much of football is still Neanderthal
Nice! 2-0 Browns
not Sure what we’re doing on offense. Baker is more than capable of throwing downfield. Let him do it

Baker's capable but not so sure the WR's are capable of getting separation.

Just thinking in my head how much Haley loved throwing it 40 yards down field 6-8x a game and how much the Browns could maybe use a WR like Josh Gordon
Well we’ve got Chubb. And he’s tanking.
Offense sucks. Defense sucks. I think they're going to get boat raced.
Just fire Hue at the half. These guys have quit again.
