Splitting this out from the tv and/or movie threads since documentaries are their own beast.

We watched an hour and twenty minute documentary from ABC on Hulu about Jim Jones called Truth and Lies: Jim Jones, Paradise Lost. It was from 2 years ago, released for the 40th anniversary of the mass murder-suicide. It’s worth a watch if you’re into that sort of thing, but my anxiety was in full gear listening to the audio of the actual event as it was starting to happen.

I always watch Jim Jones documentaries -- shoot, I typically watch any "cult" documentary. That's the religion background background I have.

I'm so glad Unsolved Mysteries is back. Already watched all those yesterday.

The Innocent Files and Trial by Media are great ones too.

Watched The Epstein documentary on Netflix as well as Athlete A on Netflix. Two disgusting human beings who used power or people in power to get away with it.

I have Athlete A on my list to watch. Got wrapped up in another that I've watched before, but it's been awhile -- Roll Red Roll.

I mentioned it in the other thread but “Three identical strangers” is crazy. Basically turned adopted kids into a science experiment without their knowledge, and it wasn’t that long ago.

Well....I'm still trying to digest the Steven Avery thing.

I liken it to the OJ investigation.

They had both of them, BUT did stupid messed up stuff in the investigations that were used against the prosecutors.

Started this tonight. Had to skip episode 3 bc I wasn’t in the mood of having to read it the whole time, but pretty good so far.
