Giving this topic its own thread since there were several people talking them in the quarantine thread. I pulled most of my cards out of the attic just now and plan to go through them. I'll post some photos of my notables as I go through them.

The two autos on the left are Edd Roush. The one Nuxhall auto is an Archive reprint, the other is from one of those weird Pacific sets from the 80s. The others are OLD.

I wish I had my old cards. When I went off to college, I gave them all to my younger cousins. That was stupid. I had pretty much all cards of the 1960’s and a few from the late 50’s.

The entire 1960 Reds team set because the design is cool AF. Leo Cardenas rookie autographed.

What is this, a baseball card for ants?

This is MOST of my Larkin collection.

Kosh B'Gosh
I have several boxes. I'd like to get rid of them. Not sure any value or what's in them.
I know there's several Ken Griffey Jr. cards in there though, he was my favorite.

I'm a little bummed to find out that several of my Upper Deck Larkin cards were ruined due to moisture.
I have all of them separated out by year. I had tried to organize by brand in the past but always got frustrated and quite. Doing it by year makes way more sense, and I actually enjoyed doing it for a few hours last night.
I have all of my 1986-1989 cards in a binder, with spots available for all cards from those years I do not have. Once I buy them they will already have a spot ready in the binder. Nerd alert.

Very impressive collection. Don't think I knew that Don Newcombe played for the Reds, and just found out he played his last year in Cleveland.
Never got into baseball cards. I think I had a set of five once. I had one friend who did collect, was a bit envious of his set, but he followed baseball much more. Even when we'd play catch or hotbox, he'd have his transistor radio nearby tuned to a Reds game, and would stop playing after every at-bat to update his own notebook of season stats.

I like your cards and jealous of your ability to post pics that aren’t sideways.
Im going through all mine for a second time....much easier this time. I missed some HOFers the first time (Ted Simmons, some old Kmart HOF cards) missed some Reds and gathering all my Dave Parker and Al Oliver cards.

It's a Topps Archive card, so not an original. The one above it is original.

I take a photo with my phone, upload to google photos, and then upload to imgur. I don't go phone to website directly.

Are you expecting a Vet committee induction? If Baines is in, so should they be.

I hope...Parker maybe. Al Oliver I’ve met a few times and he lives in nearby Portsmouth (where he’s from)....he’s friendly on twitter. I’m going to compile all my cards of his 15-20 of them and take a pic, tweet it to him and see if he’ll sign some. He’s getting up there in age, not tremendously healthy. Hell of a career.

Ha, took pic sideways lol

My sister-in-law and her husband are neighbors and good friends with Barry's brother Byron. My wife said she was going to take a picture of me sorting through all of my Larkin cards and have them show it to Byron. See if he can get me an autograph from Barry.

So I went down to my basement and found that I still had a few cards from the 60’s.
Anybody know the story of this one?

(hey, now I’m having the same problem that ironman was having)
