Brady Quinn is a pussy, and pisses his leg after every snap he takes in a game.

Well that I agree with, but you'd be surprised what a QB can do if they come into a situation with some real talent. See Ben Roethlisberger. See Joe Flacco. LOOK IN YOUR OWN DIVISION--YOU SEE THEM TWICE A YEAR!

and you would be surprised what switching atmospheres can do for an aging qb like Delhomme. These things can go both ways ya know

LOL switching atmospheres? You mean going to an offense that has LESS talent than the one you left and sucked in?

Strictly depth pick up and I guarantee Cleveland is still pursuing options trading for a starter.
This is based purely off my opinion and nothing else, but I would bet you are wrong.

Delhomme wouldn't sign in Cleveland to be a back up..he'd sign in Indy, New Orleans, etc. to be a backup...but not Cleveland.
It is purely opinion.

Delhomme is guaranteed a CHANCE at starting in Cleveland. He knows he doesn't have that chance going to Indy or NOR.

So he'll come here, get his chance which he won't win over the other QB's. He will stay with Cleveland for depth or be cut.

That's how it will go, book it.
you dont think he can win the starting job in cleveland? last time i checked peyton manning and bret farve arent the qbs he would have to beat out. i know delhomme is old and past his prime. but he did have a prime, more than i can say for what the browns already have at qb

At 900k guaranteed money, I'm OK with this move.

If there is one position that Holmgren knows, it's QB. I'm going to reserve judgment on this for a while...

I don't get this signing, Delhome is washed up. And so what if it is not our money he's still taking up a roster spot. Sort of reminds me of the old regime's signing of Mark Rypien when his best days were behind him. The difference being the Browns were good then on defense and the similarity they had no proven quarterback on the roster (remember Vinny??).

You Cleveland fans are never happy. Why are you complaining? Both of these new QBS have actually done something in their career (unlike Anderson and Quinn). You can say Delhomme is washed up all you want. People have bad seasons. If you dont recall the Panthers were like 12-4 in 08-09. People said the same thing about Warner and hell even Farve before his last season with the Packers.

No, I do not think he can personally but I do not mind, at the price he is guaranteed, giving him a chance to try.

Yeah, just as I expected, the only thing you guys can hang your hat on is an off the field incident that may not even be true.

Three things: First, there's an entire thread on those allegations, second he hasn't been charged with rape (and won't be) or anything for that matter, third he has two Super Bowl rings which is more than the entire history of Cleveland football........JUST SAYIN'!

And..you think it's OK to rape women as long as you have a Super Bowl ring.

I don't see any other starting qb getting accused of these allegations, so obviously he is doing something wrong...like raping women LOL

Haha he's trying to rationalize rape/sexual assault...this might be a new low...regardless of who's team a player plays for, you shouldn't think sexual assault is ok. If a Browns player is accused of rape/sexual assault, you won't see me supporting him...just sayin...

And how do you know he wont be charged? Were you there? Even if he doesn't get charged he is still facing a suspension, so if you think he is so innocent you might want to reconsider.

I actually like the signing.. if he isn't the starter. He's a good backup to have and a leader to help this team win. Like Devil said, he'll either sit or he'll earn time.
