That's how he relates to student? Oy! Is it to my understanding that she is the only student he does it too?

Off subject, but I love how Jillian Michaels is the ad underneath the original post (The Biggest Loser trainer).

He should have written "-20%, your mom is a whiny bitch. Loser."

If there is a "loser" race it would seem that this teacher and student would be running neck and neck, with Mom not too far behind.

What the "teacher" wrote on that child's paper is totally inappropriate and should never have been written. That child had to feel terrible about herself, knowing that her teacher thought that she was "a loser". I also do not think that we can accurately assess the abilities and potential of a child by the way her parents look. Some people have had tougher lives than others but that should not cause us to characterize everyone by appearance. I think the girl has been treated unfairly and unprofessionally by the teacher and one more comment about judging by appearance..Did you see that little girl? Did she look like a "loser" to you? If I were her parent, I would be very angry about what had been done.

As a teacher, I say you should never write such a thing on a paper like that.

Maybe the teacher had something like, oh, a frivolous lawsuit filed against them the day that the paper was "graded".

Don't take it out on the kid.

You never turned anything in.
I think I got a B in there. That was back when I would not try and get acceptable grades. I miss those days.
