"Lindelof recently told The Hollywood Reporter that the crew built all-new sets for the finale, and he promised that the ending would prompt more questions."

^^ They will tie up a bunch. They have said as much. But I would be kinda disappointed if they didn't leave us with one question...

Did you really think that they were going to bring it to complete closure?

Part of the meaning behind the title LOST is how the audience is lost most of the time.

In fact, based on the complexity of the show, I could not imagine an ending that wouldn't raise questions unless they just killed everyone.

It appears only on the island universe. I think they are still all alive in the alt uni.

Supposedly Lindolf and Cuse have said that after the finale, you will want to watch the whole series over again and have a totally different view of what was going on...brilliant. Kind of like a double meaning, you watch it the first time through (like we all have) and get an incredible story, then go back and watch it again in a few months and get an etirely different story. It's going to be epic.

I thought Hugo's reaction was actually quite touching. Shows just how much he cared about Sayid, Sun and Jin. I knew someone was going die, and I'm just glad they had Sun and Jin go together. Wouldn't be cool to have one of them live w/o the other! And Kate must be one tough mama to get shot and still be able to be underwater and get herself out of that sinking sub.

Next week is going to be awesome with the return of Jacob and the MIB. It is such a bittersweet time for all us Losties, excited about the next episode as we barrel towards the finale, all the while knowing when the finale gets here, that will be it!

I know that literally. But she had to breathe for herself, no? Hard to do when you're shot.

I realize that...I was just referring to how hard it must be to breathe oxygen when you're unconscious,as Sawyer (and Kate) were.

The couple of last episodes are about to be epic. The end was as emoational as I've ever been watching a TV episode.

Just watched this on TiVo last night ... wow. Some pretty shocking scenes, including the one with Jin and Dun, which may prove to be one of the most memorable of the entire series. I also liked the emotional outbursts from Jack and Hurley (I have many times wondered how the group remains so calm after watching Smoke Monsters devour their colleagues, so this was a nice change).

Probably the best episode of the season on Tuesday. Seeing Sayid, Sun, and Jin all bite the dust was rather sad but it's interesting that the man in black does indeed turn out to be the evil guy and not the good guy in all of this. Maybe Widmore will end up helping them after all.

I have totally forgotten what happened to him but where was Ben during everything last night? Can't remember why he wasn't with everyone.

Agreed about the episode. Ben is with Alpert trying to destroy the plane, but we have no idea where they are.

Ben is interesting here as it seems like he has really been lost (no pun intended) in all of this. Is he still at odds with Widmore? Or will the MIB force Ben and Widmore to become allies?

Also, what is Alpert's agenda now and where are they?
I'm guessing he and Ben will hook with Hugo, Kate, Sawyer and Jack in the next episode.

^^ I am thinking island-wise he is definitely gone, but we will obviously see him in the Alt Universe.

I think the Alt. Uni and the regular Uni will merge, and Sun and Jin and Sayid will still be alive in the end.

Found this interesting as I have been watching season 2 of the show and when the others told Michael to bring back 4 of the losties, the 4 were Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley. And after last night, the only 4 losties still alive are Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley. Thought it was interesting.

Exactly why the creators of the show told us to watch the series over again after it is over.

I will definitely do that to see what I missed and what I did catch.

I take part of that back since Claire is still alive but the symbolism is still there.
