Good job Canada, you barely beat the US at a sport you invented

I'd rather a 2way player than someone one dimensional.
I'd rather it be someone borderline dirty than a "whiner" (as voted by his colleagues).......

Ovi just doesn't have a Malkin to get him over the hump.....
Crosby, a 2 way player?? HA! He is a great offensive player but a very marginal defensive forward. He was on the ice a lot in the Olympics when Canada got scored on and is too with the Pens. And he is a huge whiner to boot. Ovechkin is a much better two player than Sid, although he has gotten better but still not that good.

Very tough loss for the US today. Miller kept the US in the game the whole time but the winner is probably one he wants back and probably should have stopped. Silver is nothing to be ashamed of since no one picked the US to even medal, let alone get to the gold medal game. With as young as the team is, they could be favorites heading into 2014.

It's a shame that playoff hockey is buried on VS. The country is missing out on 2 months worth of that kind of action, from April til June. It's the most wonderful time of the year and no one sees it.
I agree completely with that. This game today reminded me of so many awesomely intense, down-to-the-wire elimination games I've seen through the years in playoff hockey.

OV a 2 way player??? Ha thats laughable, I doubt OV knows what a backcheck and a forecheck is. Sid is on the #2 PK unit for the pens with Dupuis, and I doubt that OV plays on the PK.

Yes I admit that Crosby whines..........When he was a rookie and druring his sophmore season. He rarely whines like he used too. People don't talk about OV when he dives, but boy if Crosby dives people talk shit about him like no other.
