Well, Shoot. Great effort by the U.S. was a tall order to beat Canada on home ice. Nearly pulled it off. Hats off to our guys and nice win Canada. Lots of pressure on them, and they got it done.

Miller had a hell of a tournament!

This is just further proof that Sid is the best player in the world.

Hell of a game for the USA...I really thought they were gonna pull it off.

It's really 1-1 now. Canada is champions by default. Not because they are better than the US.

Crosby is a stud, fitting that he got the winner. Tremendous tourney for the US, and congrats to Canada. Had a blast watching this, not much more to say other than ... WOW.

if we had to get beat,I'm okay with it being by Canada(aka "our little brother"),and if I had to pick someone to make the winning shot,I'm okay with it being Sid the Kid--GO PENS!!!

I didn't get too excited about this game because I realized it was little more than an NHL All-Star game. At least I'm happy for Crosby because he plays for my boys the Pittsburgh Penguins.

It's a shame that playoff hockey is buried on VS. The country is missing out on 2 months worth of that kind of action, from April til June. It's the most wonderful time of the year and no one sees it.

It's a bitersweet moment for me right now.........

I was glad to see Sid pot the winner but, My heart was with team USA.



Look out for USA in 2014, they will be the favorites going into that tourny..........

Ovi is the best player in the world, when I saw Crosby cut I said oh shit...USA seemed to never attack on the defensive end and let the plays come to them its amazing Miller only allowed the 3 goals he did.

It will always be Crosby>Ovechkin...........

I'd rather a 2way player than someone one dimensional.

Agreed. My one buddy commented on how his dual citizenship mom didnt cheer until Canada won. I told him that to me, he has no mother.

I wouldn't go that far, but people who have no ties to Canada cheering for them because of Crosby and Nash.
