Ok I don't want this taken the wrong way, I don't know this girl however major kudos to her!! Now with that said, I expect to see this perhaps in a state like maybe Florida or Georgia, Alabama, Alaska, you get my point, not traditionally strong wrestling states. How does an Ohio male wrestler lose to a girl at the State level? Again I am not slamming, I am sure she is the real deal I just don't expect to see this in a state like Ohio, or PA or NJ, you get my point.

Paige is a Senior who I believe wrestles year round. She beat a Freshman. There is a very good chance he eats all he can to get up to weight. Most importantly...she's THAT GOOD! Congrats Paige!

Hasn't PA had a female state qualifier?

It can no longer be denied that Nemec is legit. She qualified out of Firestone and has won a match at state. She is just extremely good technically and competes hard.

Trust me I am impressed I just didn't expect to really ever see the day in a wrestling powerhouse state like Ohio. Anyone have a video of her match?

Nemec lost a close one in the consolation bracket. She doesn't place but at least she was able to win a match.

Congratulations to her, she was no pretender, she was tough, skilled, and quick. By far the most impressive girl wrestler I've seen.

I have some on video of her first match from section-1 level at the rail. I was extremely impressed even in her loss.....I will put it up on Youtube under Paige Nemic at OHSAA State Tournament. Maybe check it tomorrow.
