IF they can get around 15 pts each from Buford and Diebler, Id give them a legit shot at the Final Four!!

...points don't get you to the final four. Its defense and rebounding. OSU can and will score...most of the time. Thats their strength. Its what they do on the other end of the court that will determine how far they get.

Exactly! And I double posted with September because it is stupid to say well if Buford and Diebler both get 15, Turner gets his 20-8-7 and Lauderdale and Lighty each get around 8 they will be in the Final Four.

Teams WONT allow all that to happen. Thats why Illinois is Illinois and (for examples sake) Kansas is Kansas. To point out what CBF said, those teams play defense 95% of their games. OSU has shown spurts, but you cant rely on the offense because past the sweet 16, the teams wont allow more than 1 maybe 2 players go off on them.

Speaking from experience....its MUCH more enjoyable when your team is not there :D Of course thats an exaggeration. But I can actually enjoy the atmosphere and the games when IU isnt playing.

I went in 99-00, 00-01, 01-02, and 04-05. I was so damn stressed during the IU FF that I really didnt enjoy it nearly as much as the others. However, Friday night after they beat Oklahoma was WILD!!!

You will have a blast regardless. For my money it is the best sporting event to attend.

The one problem for OSU is they are not deep on the front line. Depending on there draw of course, they could make a deep run, as much as I wouldn't want to see it being a Michigan fan. OSU is a very good basketball team.

With all of MSU's depth they looked like they ran out of gas in the final 5 minutes against Ohio State. If you're used to playing only 30 minutes and all of sudden when behind in a difficult game and are called on to play more minutes it's a bigger problem. The key is not getting down by double figures and having to dig and crawl out of a hole to get back into a game. That uses MUCH MUCH more energy. Besides in the NCAA tournament on National TV you get a TV timeout every 5 minutes.

You get a timeout every 4 minutes in every college basketball game. It's just that in the tournament those timeouts are a bit longer.
