They could, but why would Z do that? If they cost him a chance to play in the playoffs, why would he accept any buyout offer from them?

Z has to agree to the buyout and if they did that to him, he would more than likely stick it out and make them pay the luxury tax.

The Wizards are going to save 5+ million buying him out, its a no brainer and Z will be back in Cleveland in a month.

Al Harrington from New York to Chicago in exchange for Tyrus Thomas and Jerome James(expiring-6 mill). Harrington is also an expiring at 10 million so New York will be losing 4 mill in expirings essentially for Thomas. Not sure why they want him, they should just trade him for more expirings

At this point, the Nets might get more second half wins than the Knicks.

Amare staying in the desert.

If T-Mac gets buy out with Kings, he privately hopes to sign with Lakers or Cavaliers for the playoffs, source close to him tells Y!

No evidence Lakers would have interest, but Danny Ferry kept an eye on T-Mac this season. That said, unclear if either team would want him.

WHAT?????????

Cleveland has some roster overflow issues right now if Z comes back.

They'll already have to cut one guy, getting two bought out players would mean cutting two OR making a trade today for draft picks while shipping out a player or two.

Cleveland would also have to use the vet min on McGrady as Z will get our BAE.

I heard this morning that the Lakers and Bulls are still staring at each other waiting for the other to blink. I read (The Chicado Daily Herald) that the Bulls still really want to trade Hinrich (They called it a top priority) and are hoping that some of the deals that have been made (Mainly the Cleveland deal) will persuade the Lakers to send only ending contracts for him. I heard on the radio that the Lakers are hoping that since they moved Salmons, taking back Sasha will be more palatable because it still clears an extra $3.5mil.

Sixers, Bucks Agree To Meeks Deal

Feb 18, 2010 12:49 PM EST
The Milwaukee Bucks have agreed to a trade that will send Jodie Meeks and Francisco Elson to the Philadelphia 76ers for Primoz Brezec, Royal Ivey and a second round pick, two league sources told ESPN's Chad Ford.

Meeks became somewhat expendable for Milwaukee following their trade with Chicago for John Salmons.

Miami still trying to please Wade before the off season.

Per Wojo:
"Miami trying to get Boozer from Utah in "serious discussions" with help Wash, source say. Haslem, Chalmers maybe involved"

"Utah and Miami have recruited Wiz to be 3rd team in Boozer talks. Wash would get cap relief out of it. Beasley not involved, source says. "

"Sources involved in prospective three-way talks with Utah, Miami and Washington aren't optimistic this deal can happen."

They will buy him out soon. They have two young C's that they want to get playing time. Plus even getting under the lux tax its will still save them millions by buying Z out.

Agreed. Boston needs some scoring right now, Robinson can give them that.

LeBron isn't going anywhere. How hard is it too see that? Just because teams try to clear cap means nothing.

They can clear cap while Cleveland just added a very good PF along with being the #1 team in the NBA with a great owner and one of the best GM's in the NBA. Cleveland will be returning practically the entire roster next season PLUS adding a player with the MLE. The MLE was broken up between Parker/Moon last season but I expect Cleveland to get a good player with the full MLE. Add into that Cleveland has a great chance at re-signing Z and Shaq. Oh not to mention Cleveland can pay LeBron morey $$$ than any other team.

Please, LeBron isn't going anywere to play with 1 other super star and a cast full of shit with a coach who will never win a championship with his style of play (something that LeBron has already made it know he dislikes).

NYK are setting themselves up for extended years as a bottom feeder. Their going to end up with McGrady, Joe Johnson, and a bunch of nobodies come July 2010.
