Jamison has left the Verizon Center.

Welcome aboard AJ, instead of losing in the playoffs you'll be winning.

Suns made a huge mistake by not pulling the trigger imo. They will get both barrels from the Heat and might get stuck with getting nothing for STAT...big mistake imo.

No, he'll start with AV coming off the bench like the Cavaliers want.

Windy:

Telfair on last yr. of 2-yr, $3.5 million deal. Will be 3rd PG, same role Coby Karl & Cedric Jackson have been in this deal,

An Ilgauskas buyout is not part of the trade under league rules. That is up to Z and the Wizards but it is quite plausible.

The Wizards also get the rights to former Cavs pick, Emil Preldzic, a source said.

Windy:
Also, Telfair currently is recovering from a reputured groin muscle and is expected to be out another 1-3 weeks.

Which is fine as he stated he would be the 3rd PG like Jackson.

W&G gives insight on a rapid trade movement:

Looks like it akll happened within a five minute stretch in time. We had a deal in place with the Wizards. Ferry and Gilbert went to Phoenix and basically it came down to time ...we simply couldn't afford to go down to the wire and ultimately end up with nothing, so we had to get down and dirty and present Phoenix with a last chance, take it or leave it proposal for Amare.

When we got off the phones, the actual belief seemed to be positive, that Phoenix might go ahead and give us a thumbs up or thumbs down based on our timeline.

Ultimtely, they did just like last year ...they couldn't make the decision and we couldn't go another yaear like last year pinning our hopes on an organization that can't make up thier minds what they want to do ..

So, we ended up taking the deal that was there for the taking ....more info to come ...call coming in...

My thoughts on the deal, assuming it happens:

1. Jamison is an upgrade over Hickson offensively, but he better play some D and attack the rim while he is here.

2. I don't think Jamison is a better fit than Amare, but at least he won't come in demanding 20 shots a game.

3. If the Wizards want to fuck with us and not buy out Z, we are pretty much fucked against the Lakers. Jamison is a small PF, and if Anderson has to be our backup C, we won't have the size to match up with LAL.

4. If Z gets his buyout, then we pretty much got Antawn for nothing, so you have to take it, but I'm not as excited about it as most of you are.

5. This move won't keep LeBron here, though I don't know if anything would. We just have to hope Miami gets Amare and no one else clears enough room for 2 max players.

Did they win an NBA Championship last year??

I don't think so....so therefor they aren't the team to beat

Does he need to pass a physical?
