The SVC should be a 2 horse race, with Piketon and Zane Trace battling. With that said, Huntington, Unioto should have something to say about it. After that, with the passing of the levy in SWCD, who knows what they will have but they probably will be better than SE, PV and Adena.
On Gay Gay, it was all about the Redstreaks and Pioneers. I'm partial to the Pioneers for obvious reasons.

Heard Westfall looked good vs Vinton County and World Havest Prep. I think they may shock some people in the league.

I don't think most of the SVC made the switch to the FreeHuddle.

The Lone Ranger (Ankle Breaker) & Tonto (The Chef) ride again!!!
The Chef knew the fruit business would dry up in Florida for you AB...or did the law finally catch up to you & you needed greener pastures. Nevertheless, The Chef's dreams and channelling finally worked to get you back. By the way, AB you owe The Chef $75 for a tab The Chef covered for you several years back.

Well, I've been on extended leave in Fla. doing some R & R working on my irons & Woods. Don't count on squeezing any $75 out of me. I have no memory of that whatsoever. Yeah, I've had enough fruit for the last few years, what's on the menu for this evening. Do you have any special brewed Indian soup?

Ankle Breaker: I'm sure you don't have any memory whatsoever of that evening...
Should be an interesting contest between the Streaks and Hillsboro. The Chef doesn't know a thing about them, but this year's Redstreaks should be exciting.
The menu has been pretty limited with all the financial cutbacks everyone is left to deal with, but The Chef will manage to come up with something for the pre-game meal to get the Streaks rip-snortin' ready. Good luck to all SVC and other teams as we start on another fantastic basketball voyage this season...Here Comes the Streaks!

Any word on Gabe Haynes of ZT after he dislocated his shoulder last night? Hope everything works out for this young man.

AB was very impressed with the defense of the Streaks. Much better than last year. This will help in offsetting the loss of the two 1,000 point scorers. Look for the Streaks to win a lot of games with their defense. This will be necessary because of the tough schedule that lies ahead. Just a good team effort.
After the game I went to the concession stand and sampled some of the popcorn but discovered that Pioneer popcorn comes nowhere close to what is worked up by The Chef.
Logan Elm is tough. Real tough. Well coached bunch who is unselfish, never takes bad shots and defends very well and has a lot of depth. No weaknesses that the Ankle Breaker could find. The Braves.
AB wishes well for Gabe Haynes. It's sad when a good player gets hurt, especially in his senior year.

I once ran over a nest of yellow jackets with a lawn mower. They were relentless in the way they swarmed. Couldn't get my bearings. That describes the game tonight as the Streaks were all over the Pioneers. This Redstreak team is far ahead of last year's defensively and creates its offense from its defense. Very impressive! I can't wait to see what Chef and the others made of this one.

I can't find The Chef. He had it going in The Oven last night. The lights were bright and the heat was turned up sky high.

Ouch. I saw it from a fans FB status update so I wasn't sure the accuracy. Maybe Shorty Hinton should help them on ball handling drills.

To answer your question, Redstreak One. The pipes have frozen up on the Winnebago and I'm holing up down the street from you at the Piketon Motel.
Lookin' forward to the Huntington game tomorrow night.

AB - The new lights are just like those heating lamps used when food is ready to be delivered. Keeps everything nice and toasty. What did you expect, it is The Oven.
Zane Trace game was a good one and The Chef thoroughly enjoyed it. Looks like this version of the Streaks have a little different identity than previous years. This team runs and guns and plays good defense. Each year is different The Chef is learning. Coach L seems to just keep turning the wrench each year to the flavor that fits/tastes best.
Visit to The Township Friday evening usually proves to be very interesting. Hope all goes well and good luck to all.

So it's off to the township. This is one year where AB is not concerned with the hackfest style going over there. We'll gladly oblige. Two teams that play the same style. Should be interesting but must say I'm more confident going to the township than ever before.

The Streaks played horribly and the Huntsmen had everything in the world to do with it.
Piketon came out smokin and then fell apart as Huntington began to do their thing. Hard to believe the Streaks can look so good for awhile and then look so bad. Take nothing away from Huntington, they wanted it more and had a great game plan. We'll have to stay tuned to see how this is going to play out. Streaks were solidly outplayed in this one.
