Well, whats to be expected? With a new coach and a change in styles, how will we do? Will football advancing and players and the coach being involved hurt us early on? Can we beat the Smithies in an early showdown?

Jake Bolyard and Zach Wasson do not play football and they're our 2 best...they should carry us early on.

A drop to D3 just might help our post-season woes too...but i think a new coach and a new attitude will be just as beneficial to ending our March drought.

Wooster will have some good teams there with Smithville, Triway and Northwestern. We'll see if the OCC schedule helps prepare us for tournaments.

Right, but we play Triway, Nw'n and Smithville in the reg. season so we'll see how we stack up before tournaments start.....we pick up Shelby and Wadsworth in our non-conf. schedule also. I think we dropped Timken.

Triway
NW'n
Smithville
Wadsworth
Shelby
...and I think a Cleveland team

Orrville is the early favorite for the DIII Wooster district. I'll have the site up in 2 weekends, hopefully.

Pitman, So what is Orrville's record recently against teams in this district. I bet in the last 5 years we are lucky to be .500. Smithville should be the favorite. I'd say Triway, but I'm not sure who they have coming back. Enlighten us on the Titans. They're going to have a jump on the Riders.

Waiting for Football to end. Who do you think will start? Bolyard, Besanson at guard, Pirman, Wasson, Hoobler. Groves, Brenner, and Zook getting time. Is Pittman going out?

Will be interesting to see if style changes will make a difference.

In the division three preview I read online Coach Slaughter sounded very impressed with Groves, maybe it will be a break out season for the young man.

Is Sam Miller playing? I heard that Hoobler wasn't actually but I am sure it's all speculation right now?

Mr.R .... Will just have waiting till football is over to actually find out FOR SHORE. It would be nice to see Miller 6-0,hoobler 6-3 and some NEW kids Winters 6-7 ? soph. sounds like COACH is movin forword not backwords..

Pirman is playing....not sure about Sam...but pretty sure Chase and Joey are too.

Who knows...if we go a few more weeks in football, these kids might decide they need a break.

word from the booster club meeting is that if the football team wins tomorrow night, we'll have to explore rescheduling the first part of the season.

Kinda like the good ol days.

i wont be greedy....

Sound defense, an offense that isn't "guard first" and a district title is all I ask.

I think the first 2 are givens, the 3rd will have to be earned.
