Over 16,000 views, most looked at basketball thread on this sight by far. I think the Steubenville football thread at 12,000 plus is second overall. Nearly 5 months since Flash opened it in November. Time to change site name to Orrville chatter.com :)

No wonder JJ is crashing....no more Orrville posters.

orrvillechatter.com....I like it.

I bet we could do that.....I could host it on my domain. :)

Then I could make the rules. ;)

rrfan,
Same salary as I get doing the blog. $0

But I expect a 200% raise to be coming down the pike any day now.

and besides, it was riders1's idea. We'll have to discuss this at our next meeting. Let's meet at Goodtimes Restaurant. No....Sir Penguin. Wait....Brett's. Yes...let's meet at Brett's. Curly fries for all.

Wow, I am hungry for popcorn at Goodtimes while waiting, and I could really eat a Brettburger right now, or maybe up the street at the KFC for some chicken :D

KFC....yes. I remember that when I was a kid...we went to go there for dinner one day, and it was just gone.

Bobs Meat Market took it's place and was awesome too.

I still get hungry for a Hardee's peach shake each time I walk into Senor Panchos.

Wasn't it Clancy's before Bretts ? How many restaurants have been in that building? I can think of about 4.

I remember Brett's, Bangkok House and East of Chicago. Don't remember Clancy's (before my time).....if you say so, then that's 4.

You youngsters, I tell ya! I do believe that the building was originally a Hardees (sponsored a softball team for high school guys who are now in their 50's). Clancy's was the original tenant in the Dairy Queen building. What a turn this thread has taken! I'll bet the thread views number slows down a lot now!

Ah, the historian strikes our memory banks again, now I remember the original Hardee's and Clancy's across the street. Next you'll tell me MacDonald's was down by Buehler's. :D

Lyle Baker who is a city council man and works at Quality was the manager for a long time. That was when I was a JC.

They won't know what a JC was, Flash! I remember when we got that first McDonalds, everybody thought we had become the "cat's meow"!

Well, I guess I killed this thread.

But, we sure did have a great run.......eh?

I enjoyed RR1's OrrViews article on "The Ride".

And best wishes to him in his new writing adventures.

Great day for a former Orrville basketball and football player last night. Tim Hiller, you have a whole town behind you. We are all proud of you and wish you good luck at the next level. I am now a Colts fan. Congrats to Tim an NFL player.

So happy for him....I remember on the old JJ site, there was a guy who was so anti-Hiller you'd think Tim ran over his dog. Just had nothing nice to say about him.

I hope that guy is seeing where Tim is now.
