Yea its the Scots. And I don't know why it's not on AM960. Heck, give me a microphone, I'll do it....just give me a chance. :)

PS - this is the 501st post on this thread...and we have over 10,000 thread views. Easily the tops in the basketball forum.

Nothing positive, ever....we settled that question a LOOOOONG time ago.

He's not from here and therefore doesnt wear the blinders that the rest of us wear.

WoosterRooster: a name I like, but not so much your last cocky post. If you had scrolled back just a couple of posts, you would have found me. But, you were so wrapped up in firing off your "witty" post, that ya missed it.

ANYHOW.......and I hope I don"t get pounded on for saying this, but we are going to be a little bit lighter for this game.


BRF I made a mistake and missed your post, hadn't seen you in recently and wasn't sure if a key member of the area internet community had been benched. Reason game isn't on is that they probably did a lot of games this week with the girls sectionals and didn't feel like doing two in one night again.

As for the game on the radio, they should suck up and do this big game....like people are more interested in the Fighting Scots than this, Puh-lease!. But, oh well, such is life.

turnovers as usual...also woo was hot from outside. orr had 4 point lead with 2 minutes to go and didnt finish. Big guy has to be stronger with ball...cant have 2 shots blocked and lose a def. rebound and also throw ball away all in last 2 minutes. Also have to be able to get ball in on inbounds play with 30 seconds left. Not having corbett probably hurt depth wise. Word is groves is done for the year. Too bad for him personally...he was starting to shoot well!! Good things about tonite was orr was down by 10 and came back hard and got the 4 point lead....just have to finish STRONG!!! Good game right before tourney....learn and get ready for a run!!

If BRF blames this loss on me for calling the Generals giant killers last night I will indian leg wrestle his ass until he finally apologizes.

Seriously though hopefully this loss will cause the Riders to focus this week on practice and overcoming going into the tourny. It's that time of the year you have to be ready to win your next game.

The good news. Jake's 1,000 pt. Here's the shot:



The bad news we lost. Wooster did shoot well from the outside and out hustled us until we pressed in the 3rd and came back to take the lead as said above. Some unfortunate calls and turnovers by us let Wooster back in. Depth did hurt tonight without Corbett and Groves.

Congrats Jake. 1,000 points is a big deal.

Disappointed that we couldn't finish. We didn't do it against Triway and had to scramble to win close games against CF and Wadsworth.....not exactly thrilled with how we finished down the stretch. We won 4 of 5 after the Triway loss....but could have easily lost 3 of those 5.

Actually 68 to 65 , inbounded to Jake with 4.4 seconds left, but he was knocked down before he could get the 3 off, no call there either, although if they called a foul it would only been 2 shots anyway.

What's up with leaving the red backboard light on when Jake was shooting the 1 and 1 at the half, that had to be a distraction.
Henning didn't bring his A game whistle with referee uniform, must have left it home at Massillon.

Hey RedRider...i laughed also. I just find it funny that the big division 1 school gets so happy when they FINALLY beat orrville in something!! Also found it interesting how woo's coach said they could have won by 8 or 10 if they make they're foul shot's...yes and orr could have won if they don't turn the ball over by 8 or 10!!!! That's why you play the game and shoot the free throw's.....cause hs kid's are gonna miss some!!!! Maybe you should charge wooster for the motivation you give them!! Could be a new money maker for ya!!!

My comments about the "intent" of some players on the team not wanting to play for the former coach are derived from the comments of you Red Rider supporters as reasoning why they either wouldn't play or wouldn't give their all.

All my posts are positive, you won't agree because you have a biased viewpoint that won't allow you to see the team as they really are.

Here's another one, get well soon Groves, great game as usual Jake and congrats on the +1,000 points, good job Coach Slaughter!
