I'm sorry if this was already mentioned (I'm not about to read through all 5 pages, haha), but did I really see Donald Short on the Timken bench last night as an assistant coach? Haha!

I like the Generals attitude and focus at this point in the season. Should be a good one!

If Wooster works the ball to Kacere, to try and pose any type of inside threat I really think the Generals have a chance in this year. Aren't they in second place, one game back?

Wooster is a little deceiving. 4 of their 6 OCC wins have been against West Holmes, Ashland and CF (i.e. the bottom of the conference)

They're good, don't get me wrong.....but their 2 wins against the top of the OCC have been by 1 (madison) point and 8 points (lexington)....both at home.

Their first big road test saw them lose by nearly 30 (at Senior).

Should be a real good game. Hoping for a noisy Wooster student section.

Heard tonight that Chase is most likely out for the season. Definately a huge loss...but he's gotta get healthy for Indiana Football. Best Wishes to him!

Chase will be a loss. He was a situation player who could come in and rebound and play a more physical style if we were getting pushed around. Hopefully he'll pull a Turner on us and show up for the tournament.

Zach or Sam dunking over a Wooster player is your assignment. I'll check in at halftime. ;)

Generals are terrible, overrated, and haven't played anyone yet. Hopefully the Red Rider players are thinking this way too. Unless McCreary shows up to coach the team tonight, the Generals should be ready.

^^We're counting on them being ready. Wooster is never not ready. Wooster has a nice starting 5. Orrville can't just be about Bolyard and Wasson, someone else needs to have a big night.

I don't think we'll be lulled into that thinking. They're ahead of us in the league standings and we lost to Lex last week and should know the need to step up every game. The two teams should be evenly matched. Hopefully we'll:

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........always nice to beat Wooster.......... in ANY sport. I reflect back to the days when Wooster used to "own" us.

Pre-game radio comment: "Orrville needs to get more production out of others because they won't be able to rely on just Wasson and Bolyard for this game"...........bah!

You go with your strength.

At least the commentator had the guts to admit he was wrong, later.

I am SO sick and tired of how the radio guys say "RED Riders" when they talk.........putting a heavy accent on the "Red" part. Have you ever noticed that? It bugs the heck out of me. It's "Red Riders" with no emphasis on the "Red". It's hard to type out what I mean, but I will gladly tell you to your face what I'm talking about. Frickin' homers. End of rant.

Nice win.

I was wandering if you'd get that shot of Wasson's dunk !

It was a blow out by more than 20. Wooster couldn't hit the 3 pter and that's almost all they tried to do after getting behind. If they had hit some of those early it may have been a different game. They can't run with us as a team. We did a good job of shutting down some of their shooters early and just stretched the lead out. The dunk was from a game before, but I did get it and ..... you can see it in the next Orrviews.

Really thought we played with good intensity tonight. I thought Wasson played his best game of the year also.

Well........Wooster sure didn't impress me at all. Alot of smack talking, but not much production. LaLonde...who?

Nice win boys...keep it rollin' tomorrow night.

Like I said earlier, if he makes up his mind he can own the game on most nights. It helps to have Jake, too. LOL. Wooster has had it easy with a lot of home games and it will get tougher for them against Lex and Madison when they have to play away, but they are a better team than they showed tonite. Everyone has an off night and this was Woosters. Ours was last week at Lex.

And at home against Senior.

IMO, we should be undefeated.

But that's just me...........I think we should win every game. :D

Well, we can beat Senior if everything goes right. Senior is hard to play M to M and a zone (that cursed word) has to be used in hopes that they don't shoot well from outside. We beat them last year with the match up zone. I don't think Senior is as good as last year, but there is never much fall off from year to year. They lost a couple of players to other schools and I think they are beatable. Having said that I think they'll win the conference because I don't think anyone but us can beat them. Wooster's reserves looked good with Meigs looking like a player who could help them if they decided they wanted to play up tempo. Hunter looks to be able to get after it also. Kacere gets a lot of garbage due to smart positioning, but doesn't fit into the uptempo game. It makes it hard to decide uptempo or a experienced player who works hard, knows the system, and scores points.

Max's hair is great.....I was shown a picture of his dad back in college sporting a similar "do"...that's the inspiration behind Max growing his out.

Great effort last night...everyone who dressed saw action.....and I guess you dont need anyone else to step up if Jake and Zach are scoring 24 a night (happy, BRF?). They'll need a repeat effort tonight to beat Senior. Still think a guy like Sam or Max (11 pts combined last night) needs to get in double figures tonight.

Very happy with how this team is being led, kids are excited to play, not afraid to take chances and are picking each other up on the court.....a lot of credit (most of it actually) goes to Coach Sly. The positivity in that gym last night was palpable.
