Was in the Marines briefly, but I was too fast/too furious so they promoted to special ops. Still doing that as of today, but I go to school and they aren't many terrorists running around where I'm from.

37 years. 24 in the Army & Army National Guard, 13 in the Air National Guard. I'll be 4 months shy of 40 years when I retire in 2013.

Currently in the Navy serving aboard USS Ronald Reagan. I've been in for 5.5 years. 2.5 more and I'm calling it a day (as of now).

I suppose membership in the KISS Army doesn't count?

Joking aside - to all of you who have served or are currently doing so, hats off. My old boss did two tours with the Marines in Vietnam -his description of nighttime "search and destroy" missions kind of put anything I've had to deal with in perspective. :(
