well if you had a mac the easy answer would be no, because it is very rare that a mac gets a virus, but in the past i have never really had any problems with other P2P sites such as limewire or morpheus or frostwire on my PC at home...this being said my computer did slow down a bit after i started using these programs because the amount i downloaded took up a lot of memory...in the end i would do it at your own risk but i would think you should be fine

Do a virus scan on it immediately after download, and before opening it or anything.
